20+ years of loving you. Seeing multiple cities with you. Raising four crazy kids with you. Along side our many side hustles and never ending projects around our house.

We continue to choose eachother through all the chaos and seasons. Forever my greatest love story is ours. From 13 to 30, sneaking out the house, catching taxis, and telling our parents we were sleeping a friends 😂🤣

MEI (May) is all about the LEI-bor of love

Birthdays. Graduations. Memorials. Milestones. Mother’s Day. You name it, it’s in the month of MEI 😍

I’ve learned over the years this is my busiest month overall. A month filled with so much love and venture. A month to remember every year that it brings joy, growth, laughter, and sadness.

8 years above the sky—— your memories live on.

today we celebrated you with all of our loved ones. Though some could not be present we changed it this year. This year instead of the tears and shadowed rooms, ignoring company, and fighting a void. We celebrated you, we laughed, we definitely showed emotion “me 😂😝”, we told stories, we sent you flowers, and made you leis. We ate ono food and had awesome mocktails. Today we remembered all the beautiful moments + we included dad.

You are forever missed, we will forever search for you in every sunset, every sunrise, every rain drop, and every family adventure. You are loved yesterday, today, and tomorrow mum.

our brain spends decades building a map of her.

Where she sits, how she picks up the phone. What she’d say right now, what advice she’d have.

That map doesn’t disappear when she does. Your brain still expects her to show up. Still waits for her to answer your calls.

And everytime she doesn’t, that’s not grief, that’s your brain and body doing its job.

Badly, painfully, but exactly as designed.

Mother’s Day can be brutal, because it’s not just a holiday for some. It’s a constant reminder that prediction will never come true.
