I spent the afternoon in solitude today, something I don’t have very often. I tend to choose to keep my children by my side, but today my husband surprised me and took the girls for the afternoon. I miraculously had hours to myself, which turned out to be such a gift.. sitting in stillness, dancing, singing, stretching, and soaking in all that I am on my last day as 33, and on the equinox, it was life giving. as I sat in reflection, I was overwhelmed with deep gratitude for the woman I am today. she’s walked through fire and become softer, and more full of love because of it. lived what feels like countless lifetimes to get to this place, endured so much, and emerged stronger and more radiant. I’ve become a woman so at peace, so full of joy and laughter, blessed beyond measure, kind, generous, and abundant in all forms. this year has been one of the most transformative and soul fulfilling of my life, but to watch my children grow, & my family thrive will forever be my greatest treasure. as I step into a new season, and another lap around the sun, my life so sweetly feels like it’s just begun. just so grateful. for everywhere I’ve been, everywhere I’m going. for all that I’ve been, all I am and for all I’m becoming. how beautiful it is to be here, now. 💫 taken in Teahupo'o by @tejianasky

happiest ninth birthday to the light of my life. the one who made me a mama, & my very best friend. Amara Māhealani Simone ~ you continue to amaze me with each year of life. An old soul, wise beyond your years, full of life and wonder and joy. You radiate, your warmth and love are infectious to all who get to bask in it. Your kindness, love for the ocean, the animals, and above all unwavering loyalty and care for your family & baby sister are beyond me. I learn from you daily, how to live a life of integrity, magic, quiet strength and to put love above all. Nothing brings me more joy than to watch you bloom into all you’re becoming. you guys 😭😭😭😭 I cant stop crying. so blown away and overwhelmed by all the love for @saiyasimone and our early access this morning. just completely full of gratitude. full of disbelief that this is our life and we get to do this. to every single person who signed up for our emails, has shared, posted, ordered, txt, called, or messaged me over the last few days ~ I see you. I am so grateful for each and every one of you loving on us in this moment. it means more than you could know. yesterday we got to execute a campaign alongside @roxface that I’ve been dreaming up for months and it was so perfect. thank you for believing in me and bringing this vision to life. I’m just so freaking full of gratitude I can’t even put it to words~ I could burst with joy. gahh where do I even begin !!! I have been quietly dreaming this up for what feels like a lifetime. a vision that began with my children, was inspired by my children, and is ultimately for my children. they’ve watched me work tirelessly, refusing to settle for anything that wasn’t just right. long days and nights, countless samples, changing manufacturers, moments of self doubt, and almost giving up more times than I can count ~ but each hurdle led me to this moment & I can say wholeheartedly I have created something I am sooo proud of. we are so proud of !!!! to hold and bring this dream to life alongside my girls, really nothing else matters next to that. endless gratitude to everyone who’s walked through this season with me. whether it be words of encouragement, guidance, stockists who said yes in a sea of no’s, my husband and the girls holding me while I cry lol. each one of you kept me going. growing up on Maui is special for so many reasons but the creative juices that flow from her valleys are magic, it wires you differently. I have been blessed with so many beautiful friends + family throughout my life telling a story through their art, to stand among them is a really special feeling. blood, sweat, tears, and the actual last pennies to my name ~ really poured all of me into this & I am just so proud to be here sharing it with you. the look in my babies eyes while we opened the box was worth more than its weight in gold. to show them what it means to follow a dream, to listen to the call in your heart and to see it through. that’s it for me, that’s all this has ever been about. to see them so proud of what we built, I’ve already won. @saiyasimone launches 8/9 ~ I hope you feel the love ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 taken in Maui, Hawaii by @tejianasky
