This view crosses the boundary between lunar night and day, revealing regions such as Mare Imbrium and Mare Serenitatis, along with sharply defined craters along the terminator.

Here, sunlight strikes at a low angle, enhancing elevation, depth, and surface texture.

These formations are essential to understanding lunar terrain as exploration returns.

The Artemis program will orbit and target the southern regions of the Moon, where similar cratered landscapes and permanently shadowed areas may contain water ice.

The Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070), located 160,000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud, is the most active star-forming region in the Local Group of galaxies. Its vibrant filaments of gas resemble the legs of a tarantula, giving it its name. Imaging this iconic nebula is like peering into a galactic nursery on an unparalleled scale.

Telescope: William Optics RedCat 51 MK2.5 (f/4.9, 250mm).
Camera: Nikon D7500 DSLR (APS-C sensor).
Mount: Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi with SynScan tracking.
Guiding System: ZWO ASIAIR Plus, ZWO Mini Guide Scope (30mm f/4), and ASI120MM Mini camera.

La loica canta desde la rama más expuesta. No porque ignore los riesgos, sino porque entiende que esconderse no le permitiría vivir como fue creada. Algunas veces la confianza trae compañía; otras, despedidas. Pero dejar de cantar nunca ha sido la respuesta.

Hoy entendí que confiar no siempre garantiza quedarse. A veces solo significa haber actuado de buena fe. Y eso, aunque duela, sigue siendo una virtud y no un error.

La ciudad nunca se detiene.
La paloma sí.

Common pigeon resting quietly under the afternoon sun at the Botanical Garden, Viña del Mar. Calm, observant, completely indifferent to the noise happening around it.

What looks ordinary from afar becomes something else up close — metallic greens, violet reflections, layered feathers and tiny details that most of us walk past every day without noticing.

Curiosity: pigeons can recognize human faces, remember places for years, and even navigate using Earth’s magnetic field.

Tiny urban survivors with better orientation than half of us using GPS..... ;)

De lejos, un girasol parece algo simple: luz, verano, amarillo. Pero de cerca cambia por completo….. Su centro empieza a parecer una pequeña galaxia de textura, geometría y paciencia, mientras este Abejorro oscuro rompe la simetría justo donde más vida le da.

Quise acercarme para que la flor llenara el encuadre y dejara de sentirse decorativa. Así, primero aparece la espiral, y después el guachin, casi como un secreto dentro de toda esa explosión de color.

Saqué 44 fotos, sí. Pero subirlas todas sería arruinar el misterio. A veces, mostrar menos también es una forma de cuidar lo que se vio.
