My new music video of my oboe arrangement 𝑰 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 from Eric Coates is out now! 🎶

My journey with Coates’s music began with 𝐹𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑀𝑒𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔, which I recorded for my debut album 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑝𝑖𝑡𝑦 and also featured on @npoklassiek . Now that journey continues with 𝑰 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 ✨

Such a pleasure to record this piece with my talented friend Koen Vroemen accompanying me on piano 🎹

You can watch and listen 𝑰 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 the full video via the link in my bio 🙏🏻⬆️

With Ave Maria (Reimagined), @verwey.music reshapes the timeless classic into a deeply personal solo piano work. Combining Johann Sebastian Bach’s Prelude No.1 with Charles Gounod’s melody on one piano, he unites both parts in a single performance. Transposed to B flat and subtly reworked, the piece gains a warmer, intimate colour.

Liszt didn’t write Orpheus as the hero descending into the underworld. He wrote him as the power of music itself: still, timeless, and able to break something open.

Dutch Classical Talent finalist, vice-chair of the Dutch Franz Liszt Society, and a perfect 10 in Luister for her debut. Hear it now on New Classical; Alexandra Kaptein – Orpheus, S. 98 (arr. for piano by A. Stradal) by @teles_music

💙 Pre-save “ANYTHING ELSE” now — link in bio! 🩷

In 10 days, on Friday October 9th, we’ll release the second single from our upcoming album, Mosa Jazz Collective plays Mosa Jazz Collective — “ANYTHING ELSE”! 🎶

A vibrant jazz waltz in 3/4, and actually the very first composition Simon ever wrote. What started out as a study assignment eventually found its way into a full big band arrangement — and onto our new album. 🎺

The track features Daniel Deamen on soprano saxophone, opening up the solo section with a beautiful, spacious solo before the rhythm section kicks things into gear and the full band takes over. 🔥

We can’t wait for you to hear the full track! 🎧

My Brahms recording featured on Spotify’s New Classical 🎹

My recording of Brahms’ Klavierstück Op. 76 No. 6 is now featured on Spotify’s New Classical. 🎹

I love the thought that this little piece might become part of someone’s morning — perhaps playing quietly while you have your coffee, before the day really begins. ☕️

I hope it brings you a little moment of beauty and makes the start of your day a bit nicer.

Thank you for listening. 🤍🎶
