@chiefjosephdaysrodeo arena record was set in 1985 of a 16.99. Sierra Telford showed up for Friday nights performance and said watch this, as she broke the arena record and set a new one under her name with a 16.92. Making history here in Joseph Oregon this weekend!

What a year it’s been… some really good highs and some tough lows. The past two years have shaped me in ways I didn’t expect, but this year especially has tested me, pushed me to be better in and out of the arena.

One thing that’s stayed steady through it all is my horses. I’m beyond grateful for the places they’ve taken me and the opportunities they’ve given me. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without them. Birdie stepped it up as my goat horse this year and it means the world to me to still be able to compete on her even if it’s not in the barrels. SBM was truley the biggest blessing I didn’t know I needed. There isn’t a better feeling than running down the alley knowing you have a chance to win every time.

As I head to Casper to represent SPC and wrap up my last year of college rodeo, I can’t help but feel thankful—for the journey, the lessons, and everything that’s led me here. One last go in the blue and orange vest. 💙🧡 taken in Levelland, Texas by @telfordsierra
