Feeling a little emotional! by @telisafranklin
Mayor @mklowery was glad to join @telisafranklin for her Seniors Legacy Expo, welcoming an opportunity to connect with and celebrate the seniors who have helped shape our community. The event brought seniors together with valuable community resources, including health screenings and wellness information, reinforcing the importance of ensuring our older residents feel supported, connected, and cared for. Thank you to Dr. Franklin and everyone who helped make this event possible. Honoring our seniors means recognizing their legacy while continuing to invest in their well-being. Last night, I had the wonderful opportunity to support Fred McWilliams and Leader Camper at the amazing One Whitehaven Symposium! It was great seeing City Councilwoman Pearl Walker, State Representatives Matt and T.J., and, of course, the beloved Mayor of Whitehaven, Hazel Moore! ❤️ I just love her! I was especially excited to see so many community members engaged in meaningful conversations about the future of Whitehaven. Kudos to the organizers for bringing people together, encouraging community involvement, and creating space for important conversations! When we come together, our communities grow stronger! 💛 #OneWhitehaven #CommunityEngagement #MemphisStrong #LeadershipMatters #PeopleOverPolitics by @telisafranklin

Forever Staying Positive! ❤️💛💚 It was truly a blessing to connect with Rastafari Nick, who was so kind to allow me the opportunity to make a donation in support of the incredible work he is doing to help our children learn to read! Reading is the foundation of education, and when we teach a child to read, we open doors to endless opportunities. I believe that investing in our children today is investing in the future of our communities. As your State Representative-Elect for Tennessee House District 96, I am committed to supporting education, empowering our youth, and standing alongside individuals who are making a positive difference in the lives of our children. Visible Leadership. Vocal Representation. Valuable Results. From Your House to the State House! 💙 Faith & Blue Sunday at Impact Baptist Church was simply AMAZING! 🙏🏽 The Word was powerful, the fellowship was amazing, and the FOOD… Lord have mercy! There are not enough words to describe how good it was! ❤️ But what truly warmed my heart and made me smile was seeing so many elected officials, community leaders, and the dedicated men and women who serve and protect our communities coming together in faith, love, and unity. What an incredible blessing it is to see two of our public safety leaders, Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis and Shelby County Sheriff Anthony Buckner, openly embracing their faith and demonstrating the importance of a relationship with God. I believe that when faith, leadership, and community come together, we can build stronger relationships, greater trust, and safer neighborhoods. God has truly blessed us here in Memphis and Shelby County! A special thank-you to Pastor Mike Ellis and the entire Impact Baptist Church family for the wonderful worship experience, warm hospitality, and incredible fellowship! As your State Representative-Elect for Tennessee House District 96, I believe leadership is about more than holding a title. It’s about showing up, building relationships, supporting those who serve, and working together to strengthen the communities we call home. From Your House to the State House, my commitment remains the same: Visible Leadership. Vocal Representation. Valuable Results. Because Telisa Franklin Cares for the Community! 💛🖤 Dr. Telisa Franklin State Representative-Elect | District 96 #TelisaFranklin #District96 #FaithAndBlue #ImpactBaptistChurch #FaithFamilyCommunity #CommunityUnity #Memphis #ShelbyCounty #VisibleLeadership by @telisafranklin
