Thank you, @theozone202, for capturing me on the red carpet working.
Rarely do I receive any videos of my behind the scenes work, so this was special. I am usually too busy at working
to remember to grab a photo here and there. Funny thing, I have worked with many of the people that hit these carpets, and they have no clue). I am usually producing on a film or producing an event that their involved in. My job is usually behind the scenes to make them look and feel good, but rarely do they acknowledge or know of my presence because they are the focus, or someone else hired me to FIX or plug a hole.

My convo in the video with @davidbanner was him acknowledging we just worked together on a recent film where I was the production designer. Much love!

Remember, everyone is important! So be kind. You never know where you may see them next

Meet my ❤️ Dash.

God has a way of sending exactly what we need, exactly when we need it.

Dash came into my life during one of the most difficult seasons my family has ever faced. We were grieving the loss of my father while I was navigating my own breast cancer diagnosis. It was an emotional roller coaster filled with uncertainty, tears, prayers, and moments where I simply had to trust God.

Then... He sent Dash.

I truly believe God renewed my spirit through a different kind of love. He reminded me that even in the middle of heartbreak, He was still writing a beautiful story. Dash became a part of my healing. His hugs, his laughter, his curiosity, and that unforgettable smile helped bring light back into places that had grown heavy.

He is smart, loving, friendly, full of personality, and his smile can melt your heart in an instant. I always tell my daughter, Kala Taylor, "This is my baby!" 😊

Dash has brought joy, laughter, and a renewed energy back into our family. He is my blessing, our blessing, and I thank God every single day for him.

The love between a grandma and her grandson is truly something special. Every weekend we spend together becomes another adventure, another memory, another reminder that life is made up of these precious moments.

I don't take a single one of them for granted.

Grandma loves you beyond words, Dash. Thank you for reminding me that after every storm, God still sends sunshine.

Today my heart is full as I celebrate some of our incredible @chapmanfoundation @sheenmagazine Sheen Ambassadors graduating from Morris Brown College & Tennessee State. Watching these young adults grow over the years has truly been one of the greatest rewards of leadership and mentorship.

Some of these graduates have been with us for multiple years, dedicating their time, talents, energy, and commitment to excellence. To now witness them walk across that stage and step into their next chapter is such a beautiful full-circle moment. I couldn’t be more proud.

Being able to lead, mentor, encourage, and pour into our Ambassadors has been an honor. So many people only see the final accomplishment, but I’ve had the privilege of watching the hard work, sacrifices, growth, determination, and perseverance behind the scenes. Seeing them become confident young professionals and leaders has been a wonderful view from the sidelines.

Congratulations to all of our graduates! Your CFI family is cheering you on every step of the way. Keep striving, keep growing, and continue becoming everything you were created to be.

We also still have additional scholarship opportunities available for a few college students.

There should be no excuses when it comes to making your voice heard. This is another important election that requires action NOW, not later.

What surprised me most was walking into my polling location and seeing only 6 voting stations available. Please don’t wait until the last minute, and PLEASE study your ballot ahead of time. Read it carefully so you’re not standing there guessing.

A bill was signed to change the rules in Gwinnett for 2028, but it that felt like now! Gwinnett County’s ballot setup can be confusing because Democrats and Republicans are mixed throughout the ballot to become nonpartisan instead of being grouped separately.

If you haven’t researched beforehand, it’s easy to accidentally choose incorrectly. Do your homework. Know your choices. Show up informed.

Let’s represent the change we want to see.

Singing HAPPY Birthday to a special woman @tellallinc I met when I was 8 years old! I'm so grateful to have her in my life. I've been blessed; my roles allowed me to travel in plays and also be on the TV series “Daniels Den” because of one of the sweetest women in the industry who believed in me. Today, I officially celebrate another year of life, and this birthday feels different. Last year was one of the hardest seasons I’ve ever faced. There were moments I didn’t know how I would make it through physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. I smiled through pain, carried battles quietly, and learned just how fragile life can feel.

But here I am, standing. Still smiling, still believing and still grateful.

Turning 55 is more than a birthday for me… it’s a blessing. It’s proof that God still has a purpose for my life. It’s a reminder that even in the middle of heartbreak, disappointment, fear, and people who walked away, I was never truly alone.

This past year taught me a lot about people. Some ghosted me. Some disappeared when life became difficult. But it also showed me who genuinely loves me, supports me, prays for me, checks on me, and continues to ride this journey with me. To my family, friends, and loyal community… thank you. Thank you for loving me through the hard days and celebrating me through the good ones. You have no idea how much your presence has meant to me.

Last year, I was sad. This year, I am grateful.
Last year, I questioned so much. This year, I choose peace & joy.

Life isn’t perfect, and this journey still isn’t easy, but I’ve learned to appreciate every moment, every lesson, every prayer, every genuine connection, and every sunrise I’m blessed to see.

As I step into this new chapter, I’m not just celebrating my birthday… I’m celebrating survival.
Healing. Growth. Peace. Strength.
And the woman I fought hard to become.

Cheers to 55.
A year of grace, gratitude, purpose, and awesomeness.
