It ain't much but it's honest work.

I know I just squeaked in but we know even line breaks count. Finally made a long time goal of mine. Lots of frustration, work, and learning but it's pretty cool. Too many people to list to thank from support of friends and family to all of the instructors I've trained with over the years. Truly, thank you.

Special shout out and thank you to Ryan of @ryan_empirical_concepts as he has really helped me take that next step the last couple of years as a shooter. Thank you.

Now the real work begins.

First time using Shooting Cut for split times and score overlays. It’s been helpful to keep all the data in one place when you want to go back and analyze a stage.

Just more match footage. Nothing special.

While never happy I noticed that I was transitioning the gun better and just trying to relax.

Huge thanks to @gage_godwin and @ryan_empirical_concepts for the lessons about just being efficient. I've been on fire to train lately. Advanced Concepts in Cottageville Aug 1.

Next class is Sept 19, 2026. Come jump in and learn the relationship to the grip, sights, and trigger. Always taught in a manner that you can improve on your own and move on to bigger things.

Link in bio. Spread the word.

Just a good day yesterday. I shot with no pressure on myself; decided to try to shoot at a confirmation pace so I could transition the gun more precisely and consistently. Worked out well when I wasn't concerned with the splits or shooting fast.

132 Alphas on the day

4th in CO. Haven't done that in a long time. Consistency matters.

Go train with @ryan_empirical_concepts if you put the work in from class it will show up on your practiscore.

We all know how important Independence Day is especially this special one.

Remember what it took to get us here, we owe them to be the best American we can be.

Happy 4th everyone. Please share if it hits ya in the patriotic bone. by @telmer2

Some good things, some bad things and the hits weren't there but the concepts that I picked up from this weekend's class really came in. I'm actually reinvigorated to train again.

Awesome weekend spent training with @ryan_empirical_concepts and @gage_godwin at Competitive Concepts class. Ryan cares about his student's improvement and he doesn't take the credit...he just shows you a way.

Take the class. He will be back to @livefiretrainingacademy in August for the Advanced Concepts class. Be there. I will be.

Sharing a moment from Baseline Handgun earlier this year where we discussed how to effectively draw a magazine during a reload. Consistent hand placement and index points aid repeatability - and in the end - performance. taken in Live Fire Training Academy by @telmer2

Another Baseline Carbine in the books. Students came out and worked hard and braved this heat wave and learned what it means to have a proper zero, holds, shooting at speed and more.

That you all for coming out and I hope to see you again soon. These guys were working while others just talk about shooting.

Thank you to @livefiretrainingacademy for being the best place to train in the lowcountry.
