Creative Threads 2026 was pure magic. ✨🧵
From the moment I arrived on the island, I felt like I was welcomed not just as a visitor, but as part of the community. Everyone was so genuinely warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to—both in and outside of the workshops. The atmosphere of the island and the entire event was just so comfortable and inspiring.
During the two days of Temari workshops across two different levels, I was blown away by everyone’s creativity. Watching participants take what they learned in the first project and naturally apply, adapt, and build upon those skills in the next one was incredible. The way everyone shared their little discoveries and supported each other created such a beautiful, creative energy in the room.
Taking a little step away from the daily routine of work and parenting to spend this time here was such a refreshing gift for my soul.
A huge thank you to the organizers, the wonderful participants, and everyone who made this trip so special. I’m heading home with a full heart and so much gratitude. 💛
島に降り立った瞬間から、まるで昔からの住民のようにあたたかく迎えてくれた皆さん。
ワークショップはもちろん、島で出会ったすべての人との会話が心地よくて、この島とCreative Threadsが作り出す素晴らしい空気に包まれた特別な2日間でした。
今回は2つのレベルで手まりのワークショップを開催しましたが、1つ目で学んだ技術を2つ目ですぐに応用し、それぞれが工夫しながらぐんぐんスキルアップしていく姿に本当に感動しました。お互いに学びをシェアし合う素敵な循環が生まれていて、皆さんと一緒にこの時間を作れたことが何よりの宝物です。
少し日常を離れて、こんなに贅沢で心温まる旅ができたことに感謝でいっぱいです。
お世話になった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

And I worked this morning at @homegirlvernon.
They served good sandwiches and coffees. And their service is amazing!!
