A special highlight of this year’s Summer Intensive is a week-long cultural exchange residency with @sisleyloubet and @tembeyana , a French Guiana-based creative studio blending art, design, and performance, bringing young artists of The VIVA School and French Guiana together in a shared creative space.

A Year of build. ✨

2025 was a year to lay the foundation, for work in progress and for deep connection with meaningful projects —ideas started, drafts explored, visions projected.
Grateful to create my creative design studio Tembeyana.
From launching our photo studio, a boutique apartment inspired by our Pigment exhibition artwork, to new collaborations with brands like Air Caraïbes, Mercedes-Benz, and BYD, or even being featured on a short film —every step felt intentional.

Looking ahead to 2026 with our café boutique in projection.☕️💫💙

But most of all, thankful for magical family moments and the blessing of health.

« Pigment » est une série de photographies captivantes qui explore l'interaction complexe entre couleur et identité, s'inspirant du patrimoine artistique coloré de la Guyane française. Chaque image tisse un récit visuel, explorant comment les teintes et les nuances deviennent un langage symbolique, en résonance avec la diversité des identités ancrées dans la région. Les photographies servent d'exploration nuancée de la nature multiforme de l'identité, où les couleurs transcendent la simple esthétique pour devenir un puissant moyen d'expression personnelle et de représentation culturelle.

#Contemplation

Throughout the years, I’ve amassed a collection of photographs showcasing buildings, facades, and architectural features from various places of the world, including my home country, French Guiana. These images are composites that encapsulate powerful stories and memories, serving as poignant reminders of time’s virtues. It teaches us patience, perseverance, and stillness to reflect from our inner depth. To accentuate its significance, I’ve chosen a minimalistic presentation, allowing these narratives to shine better. At times, I’ll introduce additional characters (🦚, 🦜, etc…) to pay homage to the African storytelling tradition. I believe that poetry is vital, and I hope you’ll find joy in it.

Au fil des années, j’ai constitué une collection de photographies présentant des bâtiments, des façades et des éléments architecturaux de divers endroits du monde, y compris mon pays d’origine, la Guyane française. Ces images composées résument des histoires et des souvenirs puissants, servant de rappels poignants des vertus du temps. Cela nous apprend la patience, la persévérance et le calme pour réfléchir à partir de notre profondeur intérieure. Pour accentuer sa signification, j’ai choisi une présentation minimaliste, permettant à ces récits d’être mieux mis en valeur. Parfois, j’introduis des personnages supplémentaires (🦚, 🦜, etc…) pour rendre hommage à la tradition du conte africain. Je crois que la poésie est vitale et j’espère que vous trouverez de la joie dans ce visuel.
