1/12/2025 All glory to the Most High King! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 growing up i struggled so much with identity and shaped myself to be the person that other people wanted me to be. i would become different versions of myself to please others which was a tactic to avoid disapproval and abandonment. this caused confusion in my identity because it got to a point where i couldn’t differentiate who I truly was when i wasn’t changing myself to meet someone else’s expectations. i was learning myself all over again and in trying to find myself i found God and who He said I am. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 peter 2:9) ‭ i am chosen by God and adopted into His royal family. i am a light in the Lord (ephesians 5:8) and the light of the world (matthew 5:14). so i want to tell anyone who sees this and is struggling to find their identity that you have an identity in Christ. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows and wants your heart. you don’t have to have it all figured out, you just have to choose Him and He’ll do the rest💗. by @temmii.e

To God be the Glory, that has been my testimony for these past four years!! Before coming to Bowie, I was so unsure of where this journey would take me and who I’d become. But I am so grateful for every opportunity, lifelong friendship, and mentor my HBCU has given me. To my friends who made every moment worthwhile and picked me up when i felt myself slipping, thank you! To my teammates who reignited my passion for dance and board members who trusted and supported me in leadership, thank you! To my mentors and professors who poured wisdom and guidance into me, and to my family who never stopped rooting for me, thank you! I truly could not have made it without my village🤍 Jeremiah 29:11 Isaiah 41:10 Temiloluwa Eniola B.S. Psychology Summa Cum Laude | Spring 2026 📸: @l.ellis_hicks.l @vision.by.el by @temmii.e
