I’m so excited for you to finally have this song. It has taken me 5 long years so get this song completed. I wrote it in 2020 when I was starting adulthood and had a stark realization that the rest of my life will be tied to a desk and corporate greed. I was not in a good place and felt the furthest from myself than I had in a long time. I wrote this because I needed to, to survive.

Fast forward 5 years later, and I’m finally sharing it with the rest of the world, in hopes it can help even just one person survive their day.

But this is more than just survival. This is about bravery to be the odd one out in questioning the status quo today. This is about the pain, blood, sweat, tears that go into not accepting this way of life. The courage it takes to start a conversation about what real freedom truly looks like in the 21st century — and fighting for it with everything you’ve got.

life has felt really real lately and I’ve been anxioussssss. It’s funny how life can feel SO permanent when ur anxious. Like - this is how it’s going to be forever and there’s *nothing* you can do to change it. And my mind and soul are 1000 miles above my body. I can’t feel anything around me but I feel the fear of that height. How far away I am from the ground and from myself and from my dreams and from who I think I’m meant to be.

If ur anxious today, I’m with u. I felt like a photo dump was just what I needed to remember what my life actually is. It’s full of dreams and purpose and love and it has “me” written all over it. I am exactly who I’m meant to be and seeing these pictures reminds me of that.

life is malleable. not permanent. it’s always changing, and i just have to trust that it will always move naturally with every version of “me”
