A couple of adjuable height and angle stands i fabbed up for some infrared lamps. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to try them out for curing powder coated parts.

My first solidworks design. I printed a pre-designed box for the Bambu extruder gears/bearings. It was designed without a lid and i wanted one so I grabbed the calipers and got to measuring. My guess at corner filets was off on the first iteration but nailed it on the second version.

Design leasons learned.... don't rely on Ai for color matching choices without actually looking at the interior colors that are present. I drive the Excursion about every 4 months so let's just say im not that familiar with the interior without taking the cover off and getting into the vehicle. It has 2 different plastic colors on the interior. Let's call this an #aipromptfail of sorts. The color it found matches the light tan of the door panels but not the dash fascia

Mistake 2 was not realizing the dash facia was not flat when designing the enclosure. See previous comment about not driving the Ex very much.

The second picture should help in future 3d design efforts. It's a # shining3d scanner

I had the pleasure of getting to learn the tip of the solidworks iceberg from @wesbrowndesign. I needed an enclosure to hide the cut lines on recession hole in my dash for my Valentine One remote audio module. The is a prototype print and now that I have a @bambulab_official printer, I can dial in the design and print in a plastic that matches the dash color. #3dprinting #bambulab by @tempest.metal.arts

I went to Washington DC on Monday and had the pure joy of landing when it was snowing. I lived there for 3 years and miss the area and having real seasons. The bonus is the company I worked for back then has been my customer for the past 3 years. by @tempest.metal.arts

Major surgery to put in a kit made by Kale. This kit makes for perfect rear suspension geometry.
