stay with me. bloom with me. drown with me.

surrendering, but to a familiar feeling.

this song had been attached to memories that brought me back to the most painful part of my life. my mind, irretrievable.

do you know why i’m still here??

this beautiful song is a memory, so why not evaluate it like one?? why not take the slightest bit of momentum and jump into a big fucking pit of nothingness and not assume that it’s about chasing the past. momentum has given me new meaning.

i’ve learned that not everything is a distraction, not everything leads back to a version of myself i thought i had destroyed, not everything has objective significance. momentum has given me the ability to create and design what i want to see with my own eyes.

i’m here, surviving, but 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. you can dwell, or you build upon yourself. every thought, every idea, every opportunity to express yourself, you treasure it. so deeply. you thank yourself for not giving up, for facing memories and fragments of a former life head on.

i’m here because i found my momentum. the people i love, my hobbies, the will to prove my worth to myself. it’s all my own <3

outpacing myself, rooted in an unfamiliar mind i once knew so well.

“𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙜𝙞𝙘”

but why would i mourn complacency?

“𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣?”

that’s not the point.

expansion… evolution… knowledge… all an affliction.

can beauty exist where nothing stands still?
