Today, I’m designing a vintage 60’s style wedding for Marpessa Dawn and Eric Vander, as well as telling the story of their forbidden love as an interracial couple.They are the spitting image of Nara Smith and Lucky Blue Smith, so I’m convinced they are the Smiths from another life. This week’s whimsical arrangement is centered on texture and color, using leftover flowers.I built the base of the floral arrangement with smoketree (also known as continus) for a dry textured ethereal effect. From there, I layered in euphorbia martinii, purple alliums and daisies for additional texture and whimsy. My focal flowers were these beautiful tricolor anthuriums.
