To my dearest duet partner, in life and in crime, on and off stage @dr_spice_c. There are not enough words in any language to fully capture what getting to perform this dance with you means to me. The first time I saw you perform is a memory that will stick in my heart, mind and soul forever. I was then and still am every day now, in absolute awe at your dedication, resilience, strength, unabashed confidence and pure joy. The fact that I could share in that joy with you on stage five years later is a blessing that is genuinely indescribable.

How grateful I am for you being my person in this lifetime and every other. To learn from and with you every day has been the ongoing honour and privilege of my life. But it was uniquely special and fulfilling to get to switch roles in this way (Dr Spice C is actually Tenacious Tease’s daughter hehe 😋) in getting to teach you as well as learn from you in this duet process. To watch you go from “there’s no way I can do that” to “we absolutely nailed that” is a unique privilege that I will carry with me always.
I am so immensely proud of you and what we got to create together. As both a dancer and daughter, I couldn’t be more grateful and proud 🫶
To you, and to us, lets keep dancing through lifetimes together forever🥂 I love you ♾️ by @tenacious_tease_

This duet has been a longgg time coming. And yet it was a more magical experience than I ever imagined it could be 💜

Thank you to the best mentor a debut performer could’ve ever asked for, the gorgeous and formidable @miss.hollyberry 🫶 I’ve looked up to you since the very first time I had the privilege of watching you perform and you’ve somehow impossibly only gotten more impressive over the years. It’s been a true honour to get to learn from you❣️

Thank you to the most inspiring and gorgeous @lady_magnolia_burlesque for giving me the space and tutelage that allowed me to heal and respark my relationship with and love for dance throughout the last four years. You’ve given and nurtured within me the confidence to be truly authentically expressive, both on and off stage. You are magnificent and magical and the community that you’ve facilitated and nurtured in @therougerevue has fundamentally and beautifully shaped who I am, both as a woman and a performer❣️

Thank you to the insanely talented @annasmithphotographysa for capturing this piece so beautifully (as usual) 📸 by @tenacious_tease_
