April 2023 - 9 year old @n0x_winn filmed @intheblinkofaneyefilm with the most amazing director, cast + crew. Everyone was so kind + helpful. It really was such a memorable experience.

Our Guest DJ hails all the way from Van City and is a literal dream come true for us at sundae shorties!

For those who may recall, we held a fundraiser for the victims of the Lapu Lapu Day Filipino Festival tragedy ( #LLD ) in Vancouver in April 2025. A survivor of the incident, Christi Ann aka @tender_beef has been bravely vocal about her experience on various platforms. As a party and on @flyladydi’s personal page we were able to raise nearly $4k to aid in her family’s recovery.

As a member of the @wildthangdjs collective, tender. has played at events such as Lapu Lapu Day Festival, Car Free Day, Morning Disco and Public Disco, just to name a few. Known for her ability to set the tone and hold space through music, tender. delivers sets that are soulful, fluid, and unmistakably her own—rooted in culture, connection, and feeling.

To those protesters that attended the #lld gathering last weekend and booed the First Responders…shame on you. Use your brain, do your own research and start asking the right questions.

I hope that one day, our community can get back to a place of helping each other and working together, like we did that night. Like how so many other people saw. It really is heartbreaking to see how short lived that was. How so much in-fighting has led to so much divide. Pathetic that it is no big surprise, honestly. Almost expected.

To continuing to recover, hopefully in more peaceful times in the near future.
