Nobody talks enough about the grief that comes with outgrowing a life you worked so hard to build.

I love television. I’m proud of the career I created, the stories I helped tell, the places it took me, and the people I met along the way. This is not me running away from something I hate. It is me admitting that the life I want next requires me to do something different.

I think a lot of millennial women are standing in that same uncomfortable space. We did what we were supposed to do. We built the career, became good at it, and created an identity around it. Now some of us are realizing that success can still stop fitting.

The hardest part is not always figuring out what you want. Sometimes it’s trusting yourself enough to choose it before you have proof that it will work. This is the same thing I ask of my clients who trust me with their weight loss and fitness journeys: decide who they want to become, make choices as her, and keep showing up before you can even see the results.

Now it’s my turn to do the same.

I’m scared, but I’m also curious about the woman I’ll meet on the other side of this decision.

Starting over doesn’t mean I’m starting from nothing. I’m bringing every lesson, skill, experience and version of myself with me.

I’ll be sharing this transition as it unfolds. The exciting parts, the uncomfortable parts, and the parts I cannot predict yet.

Are any other millennial women realizing that the life they built no longer fits the life they want? Or is it just me?

After losing 75 lbs the hard way, that version of me thought restriction was the only way to keep it off.

Maintaining my weight loss felt like a nightmare. So did gaining and losing the same 15 to 20 lbs for years.

Not only am I fat loss and body recomposition coach, I’m an also a reality TV producer. I just finished 3 months on the road producing a show in Charleston, South Carolina.

I worked 12 hour days/5 days a week for 3 months and stayed committed to my workouts. Whether it was waking up before my call time or getting a workout in after wrap, sleeping on my goals was not an option.

Going back to weighing 245lbs and putting myself last is also not an option.

Apt. fitness centers, local gyms, hot mat Pilates studios - the same as when I’m at home. Because when you’re building a Legacy Body, you don’t pause your health for your hustle. Your health IS the hustle. 💪🏾🤏🏾

I know life gets loud. Kids, work, travel, social life. But 3 months flew by and I came home stronger than I left.

Miami had me feelin’ myself and lovin’ every bit of the life I’ve built.

This body didn’t happen by accident. 75lbs down, 17 years of showing up, not perfectly, but consistently. I changed my mindset, let go of everything toxic diet culture told me to do, and went all in on strength training and food freedom.

What’s that one quote? ‘Do one thing every day that scares you.’ Yeah. I’m doing that right now. Please tell me I’m not crazy.
