Every time I see my name on a gallery wall, it still feels surreal. I’ve been having more of these moments lately. Standing inside my dreams.

My sister reminded me recently, “You’ve always been creative.” And isn’t that something? Maybe life is just about coming back to who you’ve always been.

Since I launched Home.Girl last year, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to evolve this space. Home.Girl was such a tender, beautiful project. We shared our heartfelt stories about friendship and sisterhood and connected with each other across the world.

As I reflected , I realized the purpose of Home.Girl felt complete, but I also felt the pressure to keep the narrative going. I’d be lying if I said I have it all figured out. Lawd knows I’m winging it just like everyone else.

What I do know is this: I have stories, lessons, and ideas on my creative journey that are worth sharing. So here I am, showing up one step at a time, learning as I go.

a poem in my journal turned into a film for my daughter.

the film turned into a beautiful gathering to reflect on motherhood, creativity, identity, care, and the stories we carry.

i will never stop being in awe of what it takes to bring an idea to life.
