Ile Teni Setup Diaries
Episode 13 (the part where we now have a couch!!!!)😌💃🏽

My 3-Month Couchless Journey Ends with Brainz Concepts 🥹🛋️

Three months of paint buckets, duvet on the floor, couch hunting, measuring, changing my mind and wondering who I could actually trust to make the couch I had in my head… and we finally have a couch!

I wanted a bubble L-shaped sofa that would fit my space properly, and I’m so happy with how this turned out. The fact that the L can be switched to either side was also such a game changer for me.

I also got the shelf beside my TV from Brainz Concepts, and I’ll be styling that with some of the pieces I got from Orca.

And yes, I added legs to my console and I DON’T regret it 😂

Big thank you to my friend @olasubomiiiii__ for helping me unbox this beauty

Ile Teni is now 90% complete. Just the rug and frames left!

Thank you @brainconceptz for making this part of my apartment journey so seamless. 🫶🏽

@ms.efayy_ thank you for this beautiful recommendation ❤️❤️

What does it actually cost to keep you online? 👀

Every time you complain about poor network, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

In Nigeria, road construction can damage underground fibre-optic cables, forcing telecom engineers to relocate and repair infrastructure repeatedly. The cost runs into billions of naira every year, while each fibre cut can affect calls, internet access, digital payments, businesses and livelihoods.

And while you’re seeing those missing network bars, someone is out there at night, inside a manhole, in the mud or up a telecom tower trying to restore the connection.

So the next time your network disappears, remember there’s an entire infrastructure system working behind those little bars on your screen.

Nigeria’s internet infrastructure is a lot more complicated than it looks.
