I know everyone’s experimental these days - mega pop stars, regular degular rock bands, even BR Gallery approved cover bands needing to puff their ego up. But, we’ve got a h**k of an EXPERIMENTAL show coming up next month with BEAM SPLITTER (all caps) on tour from Berlin + locals DOUBLEMONO (also all caps) w/ me and mitchell (who will probably be wearing a cap). Everything’s happening at Mid City Ballroom on July 28.

On July 3rd Many Chants Records will be releasing Double Amps, my third solo album in a proposed trilogy with No Mathematics and Orchid Alto preceeding.

Today I’m previewing the last track of the album with a beautiful video directed by Hal Lambert @tentative.power. Hypomanie is a glorious return to guitar based work and at the same time a departing platform for more drone based music. Enjoy!

First time trio with Mid City Rob on drums and Jeffrey Livingston on Bass VI. Shout out to @blememusique @onehorsetown.band @kenmujo and the kids of the Hammond hardcore scene. ••SIBERIAN SOUND BATH••
THE PEOPLE’S NOTE is a cathartically loud meditative sound bath with 10+ cabinets placed in various corners of the venue, droning on a singular and democratically elected note.
The amplifiers are controlled by members of Portia, Fauns, Slowhole, Guts Club, Panama Papers, Mars, Tortuous, Thou, plus other experimental and heavy ensembles.
