Just because I don’t post anything on Instagram doesn’t mean I’m not active anymore. :) But today, I have a reason to make a little thank-you post. After 24 years, Transalpes, the bike manufacturer from Baar, Switzerland, is closing down. For more than four years, Transalpes supported my good friend and long-time shooting partner René Wildhaber. During this time, quite a few images were created that were either never published at all or only used for specific purposes. This development is now a reason for me to give you an insight into some of the work I do every day, but normally don’t share on social media. #mtb #mtbphotography #mtblife #sportphotography > So here are some images from behind the scenes. I would appreciate if you take the time to scroll through these slides. :) These shots only happen if you dont just do the job, but do a shooting after the booked shoot. Transalpes Bike Manufaktur ceases operations following failed succession arrangement Baar, September 3, 2026 – The succession arrangement at Transalpes Bike Manufaktur has failed: The contractual obligations under the management buyout were not fulfilled. The company will therefore cease operations and file for bankruptcy. Shooting for Supernova. One of the wildest mountain bike expeditions I've ever led in Nepal. This entire journey from Kathmandu to Kathmandu is around 35 days. Countless high passes which are over 5000m. Long downhill, remote , raw and authentic. This is what a real mountain bike adventure looks like in Dolpa. Sharing some memories here📷: #adventure #nepal #ridemodenp #ridemode taken in Nepal by @tenzflow
