It’s been a long time since I climbed so high. Not gonna lie, I was out of breathe for sure! But then we settled into a pace and step by step, rock by rock we made it up! Another Summer Solstice celebration in the books, and my heart is so full. ☀️💛

A huge thank you to @anetapie_ and the entire PYC @burlingtonpyc family for creating yet another beautiful, magical morning that brought our community together in such a meaningful way.

To all the teachers, volunteers, helpers, and behind-the-scenes angels who were up at 5:00 AM (or much earlier!) making it all happen! thank you. Your energy, dedication, and love are felt by every single person who walks through those doors everyday and especially today!

A special shoutout to DJ Joe for keeping the beats flowing and the energy high throughout our practice. 🎶✨

To my fellow vendors, thank you for sharing your passion, your smiles, and your beautiful offerings. And to all the yogis who stopped by the @gyokerhair booth, entered our giveaway, shared your stories, and connected with us. Thank you. We loved meeting every one of you and can’t wait to treat you at our head spa.

One of my favourite moments every year is standing at the front, counting us through all 108 Sun Salutations. Looking out and seeing your determination, your smiles, your laughter, and the incredible energy we create together is something truly special. Watching a parking lot full of people move, breathe, sweat, dance, and support one another is pure magic.

And then, shavasana - feeling the sounds from the healing sound bowls with @claudiacorazonsound. We did it!!

Magic as we finished with three collective Om’s, I was reminded once again of something I deeply believe:

“We go farther together”

There’s a friend in my life I will always speak well of. Not because they’re flawless, no one is, but because they’ve loved me in a way that rebuilt pieces I thought were gone - steady in storms, gentle in chaos, loyal in silence. They showed up when the room emptied and proved that true friendship doesn’t flinch at brokenness.
They’re more than a friend - they’re the reminder that real, rare, rooted friendship still exists, and my gratitude for them runs deep. Six years ago, Gyöker was just an idea rooted in passion, purpose, and a deep belief that scalp health and self-care deserve more attention.

Today, it’s a space filled with transformation, trust, growth, and community.

To our incredible clients, thank you for allowing us to care for you, to support your journeys, and to be part of your routines and rituals. Your loyalty means everything.

To my team, thank you for your hands, your presence, and the energy you bring into this space each day. What we create here is built through intention and consistency, and that matters.

Six years has taught me that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet resilience. Sometimes it’s learning. Sometimes it’s simply not giving up.

As we step into another year, we recommit to excellence, to deeper care, to continued education, and to raising the standard of what scalp health and luxury treatment can look like.

The roots are strong. 🪴
And we’re just getting started.
