Last night, the Tepper School alumni community came together in Seattle for a conversation on how AI is reshaping the future of business.

Associate Dean for Research Param Vir Singh and Senior Director of Development and Alumni Engagement Laura Herr joined alumni Nandita Jaya (MBA ’21) and Priya Patel (MBA ’19) for a discussion on navigating technological change, the evolution of product management, and the leadership skills needed in an AI-driven world.

Carnegie Mellon University’s new Miami campus will build on the university’s strengths in Pittsburgh while creating new opportunities through Miami’s distinct industries, communities, and research challenges. Paraj Tyle (BSE ’14, ECE’14) came to Carnegie Mellon knowing he wanted to study both engineering and economics. The flexibility to pursue both led him to dual majors in electrical and computer engineering and economics, which he completed in just three years.

Looking back, Paraj says his Tepper School economics education shaped how he thinks about the world and approaches decisions throughout his career in technology, finance, and real estate.

The latest undergraduate rankings from U.S. News & World Report and Niche recognize the strength of our Undergraduate Business Administration program!

The program maintains its No. 6 position in U.S. News’ Best Colleges for Business rankings, while Carnegie Mellon University advanced to No. 14 among Best Colleges in the U.S., up from No. 20 last year. On Niche, the Undergraduate Business program ranked No. 3 among Best Colleges for Business, up from No. 6 last year.
