Alright Y’all a little bit more shameless self promotion for this zine me and my friends made about an adventure last winter. The first print run went really fast and I’m so thankful for anyone who has picked up a copy. Sold Half the print run in one day at Richmond Zine Fest! Also Wildly grateful to the folks who have read it and had very encouraging things to say as it’s my first time trying out anything like this. Train riding/bike touring/birding is an insane thing to combine and it’s really brought so much joy to my life I’m happy( and no longer nervous) to share our experiences with the world. Down to 7 copies left for locals if you wanna holler and I’ll deliver em to ya this week but to the rest of Y’all who showed interest we’re gunna repress a run and offer shipping.10bux for Richmond homies and 5 more for those who want a copy shipped. I’ll put a link in my bio for Jays webstore and if you wanna holler at me for locals to figure out how score a copy I’ll figure that out and make sure ya get a copy when they show up.

Again grateful for Mark and Jay for being Zine veterans and for their design and photography skills for making this thing come out the way it did. And thanks for all the folks who knew we were working on it and encouraged me to sit down write something for my first time. Already started planning our next winter adventure. Can’t wait for more extreme behavior 😎

Been waiting for a good reason to Post these photos and shameless self promotion seems like the perfect opportunity. Collaborated on a zine with my French fry crew about a trip we took last winter to Florida. Extreme Behavior. That’s the title.These are all photos I took that didn’t make the cut so if you want the goods you have to pick up a copy at Richmond Zine Fest this Saturday. Snuck ourselves and four loaded bikes on a freight train to Jacksonville and pedaled our way down to Orlando to make a full circle with another sketchy free ride back. Id love to share more on here about all the fucking crazy stuff we experienced but it’s all in the zine. The strangers, the landscapes ,running through a swamp to escape the law,non stop birding lighting up my brain. Incredibly proud of all the photos, storytelling ,layout and design of this thing. My friends are really good at making zines and I’m fortunate that they let me join in on being part of making my very first one. Feels good to get this thing out into the world. As I’m sitting at home during a winter storm with a boil water advisory in Richmond I realize i’m bad at using this thing so here are the last of my photos I took during the summer months I thought were worth sharing. Really looking forward to warmer times and more swimming in 2025.

Summer pics worth sharing part two.
These are all from the same evening this time.

Rode bikes with my friend Joey after work to a 711 in Bon Air Va on July 11th aka Free Slurpee Day. Showed up to a confusing scene and honestly wasn’t sure if things were actually going to happen but it ended up being an incredible fun and wholesome night. Next thing I knew bands were setting up and 200 + kids appeared and then I looked around and slowly most of my friends trickled in and couldn’t believe we were witnessing a full on punk show in the parking lot behind a 711 in the suburbs.Biked home in the dark sober and grinning ear to ear. Can’t wait til next years show @acidfusionrecordz . by @tequiloneill
