I got distracted deciding what to use as my new Tea Journal insert and made a planner stack! It's always so fun to see them all together.

From the bottom up:

@hemlockandoak I LOVE this planner! The paper is amazing and the one I have is undated. That makes the daily pages less stressful. I can use them for days when I feel up to it or just skip. Having my weekly schedule in one place is a huge help. I'm hoping once I'm feeling a bit better to utilize the goal planning and daily pages.

@archerandolive B6 this is my journal! I do prompts from @planninginhd or journaling. This is what I'm most excited to use more this year.

@hobonichi_global A6 HON I use this for bullet journal type spreads, reading log, and just fun stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else.

Hobonichi A6 notebook for playing with in! I love making a mess with fountain pen inks.

Hobonichi A6 spring start. She's evolved a bit this year since I'm using the H&O for my schedule and to-do lists. Now I'm using her for decorative daily memory keeping, current events, and whatever is going on in my life.

@travelers_company passport size Love and Trip currently only holds my tea journal. This set up isn't quite perfect yet. I think I need an envelope or zipper pouch.

Travelers Company passport in blue. This is my on the go bestie!! She lives in my purse for random lists, when I need to take notes at a Dr appointment. I also have an insert for noticing I just jot down interesting things I see when out and about!

Happy International Tea Day!!

It's a cold and gloomy day here in Michigan which is perfect tea drinking weather but not the best for filming! I was going to wait until I had this Field Notes I'm using for my tea junk journal half full but when Google told me it is a tea drinking holiday I had to do it! Did you see a tea you love?

I appreciate all of my IG friends who are swapping happy mail with me and keeping me stocked up on new tea to try!

I had the best time with @katygrowscreative today at Sweet Grass Moon Cafe in Shelbyville Michigan. Look how pretty the charm Katy made for me is on my Tokyo Station Travelers Notebook!! The baristas were kind enough to let us use the cafe stamps in our journals! Maybe a little confused about me asking but happily let us use them!

I actually did most of my Hobonichi daily page while there!

It was really such a treat to see Katy's ink journals and hear about her planner ecosystem. I'm super inspired to start a pen insert! In person time with pen friends is the best. by @tera.does.stuff

I'm always so impressed when I do a little doodle and it turns out cute!! Simple but fun page in my Hobonichi A6 with @tombowusa dual brush pens.

Picked out some boots and a hoodie for my "Christmas" present. Fingers crossed she forgets she got them already 😂 by @tera.does.stuff

This is officially my favorite way to swatch ink, at least for autumn!

I had a couple of questions about how exactly I made my leaf print so I wanted to film the super simple process. It seemed like a perfect opportunity to swatch @privatereserveink.official Pearlescent Violet

It helps if your leaves are not super dry, I picked these off my trees. Don't dip your brush right into the bottle!

This ink swatch is on my Hobonichi A6 daily page. I used my dip pen to write a little about my day. A new dip pen is on my Christmas list!

Fall leaves ink swatch

My new favorite way to swatch inks and perfect for fall! Featuring my homebrew purple!

This is super easy and I can't wait to try it with more colors! The already fallen leaves were too dry so I picked these. Just brush on the ink and press to your page. So easy and beautiful!

For my homebrew purple ink whenever I use a purple fountain pen ink I add a few drops to a sample vial. It's really fun to see how it turns out. by @tera.does.stuff

This is my most favorite zen doodle (or maybe it's a zen tangle) yet!

I love seeing all the different fountain pen inks and how they pool and dry! The shading and shimmer really stands out!

A huge thank you to the kind person that left this beautiful Levenger True Writer on the free table at the @detroitpenshow !! It's really a beautiful fountain pen that is perfect for fall! I inked it with Diamine Autumn Oak. The broad nib really shows off the shading ink.

I had a fantastic day at the @detroitpenshow today!! So glad that I didn't let my anxiety win and made the trip all by myself. Of course I wasn't alone for long! It was such a fantastic time to see old friends, make new ones, connect with IG friends IRL, and just be in the room with so many people who share this fountain pen hobby! All that said I barely took any pictures! There are a few in my stories and these. Whoops!

I got to soak up the creativity of others and left inspired to really keep at my beginning art practice!

Somehow I only bought one pen, a Kaweco Sport in last year's color, Emerald Eve, in a double broad. Thanks @patricia.journals for finding that one for me!! Then I found a Levenger True Writer on the free table. I also bought a beautiful pen case from Stationery Universe by Rickshaw (I'll fill it up and show it off soon). I was given a few ink samples and some destash inks!
