Huge geek - Disney, DnD, Star Wars…all of it! But I’m definitely entering into my Reading Era and loving every moment of it!
41/45 books for 2026 📚

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Highly recommend grabbing your bookish bestie and doing a scavenger hunt at your local indie bookstore! The vibes will be :chefs kiss: perfect!! And of course you’ll leave with tons of new books for your TBR 📚

Special thanks to @seewhichbooks for chatting with us and letting us have fun with our shenanigans 💜 (Video inspired by @elissasepilogues )

QOTD: what books would you pick for some of these categories?

A fun trend I’ve seen: my name in books!!

T: Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass
A: And Now, Back To You by B. K. Borison
R: The Redwood Rebel by Lorna George
A: Artemis by Andy Weir

Fun fact: I was a beta reader for The Redwood Rebel!

Take me back to Disney 🏰✨

(No but for real, I took my kindle with me every day on my last Disney trip…and didn’t read at all in the parks!! 🫣)

❓QOTD: do you read a lot on vacation, or do you get too distracted?

It was an ACOTAR filled week for me last week!! 🥀

I’m in the midst of my ACOTAR re-read, and there’s some small details that I’m noticing this time around that make me go 🤔 Can’t wait to get my hands on the new book at the end of the month!! 📕

❓QOTD: when there’s a new book in a series coming out, do you re-read the series first or just dive right into the new book?

Mini Review Monday! Or…something 🤷🏽‍♀️

Catching up on my reviews from September. It’s been a while since I’ve had a 5 star read that has consumed me, body and soul. Bury Our Bones came close though!!

❓QOTD: What was your last 5 star read?

This book made my DnD loving heart so happy!! 🎲 🐉

The tension and banter between Reagan and Wesley is top tier!! There’s an amazing prologue that perfectly sets the stage for these two college rivals!

And then we basically get a bonus story as we follow along with Wesley’s DnD campaign: he plays the cursed vampire prince (who totally gives off Astarion vibes, iykyk), and she plays the banished Lady Knight set on defeating him and healing the land. Again, talk about tension!!

And the best thing - even if you’re not familiar with DnD gameplay, Woods explains the basics in such a way that is so easy to follow! And if you do play DnD, well you’ll absolutely love this book!!

❓QOTD: do you play DnD? If you do, tell me about your character! If you don’t, what’s your favorite game to play?

I kind of lost track of time and now it’s the end of September!

This month was busy - I started a new job but also had (and have) a lot going on behind the scenes. But I read some good books, and they were perfect to get me in the mood for Fall!! Though now it’s time to switch gears and re-read ACOTAR again before the next book comes out!

(Also apparently I ate a lot of good desserts this month because that was mainly what was in my camera roll - aside from book pictures!)

Reviews for all the books I read this month coming soon!

❓QOTD: what’s your favorite memory of September?
