Oh Daddy 💔…I can’t believe I’m writing this 🥺. Man I miss you so much already! My heart just feels broken. Me and the kids just saw you Saturday for breakfast to celebrate your birthday. We had the best time 🥰. We laughed, joked, and just talked. I’m so glad we didn’t rush. We arrived before the other two big parties who sat near us and left after them. Again, I’m so glad we didn’t rush! You were in such great spirits. You always loved seeing your grandchildren! You were the BEST POP POP my kids could ask for! So present all of the time! I would joke and say you didn’t care about me anymore since you had them. But I know that wasn’t true. You loved calling me to talk…to talk about coaching, talk about the kids, and ALWAYS to talk about my brothers. Whether you wanted me to call Jaeden to give him my big sis talks or calling to talk about Professor Mustaf 😂 (Jerrod), you and I could laugh for hours. You know Daddy, I wish we had more time, not bcuz you hadn’t fulfilled your role to me as a father but bcuz I STILL NEED YOU 💔! I can’t even bring myself to believe I’ll never see you again, laugh with you again, or just talk basketball with you again. That’s what we did! I need your comfort right now. Daddy I just don’t wanna face the fact that this is our new reality 😢. Yall always made jokes about me being “bossy” and keeping the boys in order but that came so easy when you were here. But Daddy, I’m gonna do my best and I’m going to hold things down here as you would have wanted. I’m going to take care of Mommy. 33🎈feels amazing ❤️! This year has been such a transformative year for me 🦋. I’m so proud of the woman I’m growing into.
