Julian’s been coming to me for a year now, and he’s getting ready for his first homecoming! It really means a lot to me that he continues to trust me with his hair, especially for moments like this.

Styled with @stmntgrooming Grooming Spray + Matte Paste.

10 plus years as a United States Marine.

But my barbering journey started before that chapter ever ended in Okinawa, Japan, cutting hair while I was still serving, with no idea where it would take me.

This past weekend, @staygold31 told me something that stuck: lean into your story.

And now, being in rooms like @stmntgrooming Artist Edition, Cultivating Culture, and World of Stmnt surrounded by people who continue to push this industry forward, I’m realizing I’m still only at the beginning.

The uniform changed. The mission didn’t.

Keep building. Keep creating. Keep serving.

His hair grew out long so we tried a new look. Shear work for the fringe, clipper work for the fade. Medium texture black hair, cut to move naturally and grow out well. Finished with @stmntgrooming Wax Power.
