Yesterday’s post office view … so stoked to get a great view of the Blue Angels on my way home with quite a few others … right off the 15 near Kearny Villa road … definitely beats walking all over that hot tarmac with several thousand peeps … yet my cell phone didn’t get the best pictures …
I’ve been seeing the Blue Angels off and on for 50 years now … saw them every year when I was a kid since I was a military brat and we always lived near a base … one day me and my friends were playing football in the front yard in Havelock NC … and the Blue Angels were practicing and did a flyby right over our part of the neighbourhood in Westbrook … they were in the triangle formation … me and my friends were all jumping up and down waving at them since they were so close banking right above the yard at my friends house … the lead pilot gave us a thumbs up … that’s how close they were … a memory that will last forever … I didn’t really see them again for many years and then several years ago having my son by my side … I felt like a little kid again and get goosebumps whenever I see the Blue Angels … TMI … I will keep the nostalgia and the adrenaline in my heart forever … and watch them any chance I get … 🤙 taken in Miramar MCAS "FighterTown USA" by @terhead

Been busier that a one legged cat trying to bury turds in a frozen pond … working a lot … and driving back-and-forth to Santee twice a day during rush-hour traffic … all for this young fella … last night we took advantage of some much needed concrete therapy … 🤙🛹🤙 taken in Linda Vista Skatepark by @terhead
