Na twee jaar werken aan Gouden Tijd, een album dat het licht (nog) niet mocht zien vanwege samplegebruik, heb ik bewust de rust genomen om The Great Relax te maken. Zowel muzikaal als visueel liet ik alles ontstaan zonder haast, en werkte ik alleen wanneer ik volledig ontspannen was.
Ik wilde een staat van zijn verbeelden om mezelf en elkaar eraan te herinneren dat controle een illusie is. Dat we al zijn en dat alles al is.

English:
After two years of working on Gouden Tijd (Golden Era), an album that was not (yet) able to see the light of day due to sample usage, I consciously took the time to create The Great Relax. Both musically and visually, I let everything come together without haste, and worked only when I felt completely relaxed.
I wanted to express a state of being, to remind myself and each other that control is an illusion. That we already are, and that everything already is.

Mijn nieuwe studio/atelier bevindt zich in een klooster. 🙏
Nog niet af, maar wat een heerlijke plek om te creëeren.
Ook wil ik hier binnenkort lessen gaan geven.
(Sampling/ Beatmaking algemeen/beginner, iPad Beatmaking (oa Koala & Beatmaker3), MPC Sample en of KO2 lessen ook voor gevorderden en pro’s) DM als je nu al voelt dat je hier interesse naar hebt!
