Why do our pawrents want us to look like Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger….we are definitely not impressed 🎃🎃🧡🧡#beaglesofinstagram #yeg by @termibaker

I (Paisley) have been with my family for 6 months as of today!! My pawrents say that I have come so far…from a very shut down girl who trembled and cowered when anyone even looked at me even if they were far away to the amazing goofy, fun loving pup you see now. I still have a long way to go but I am making great progress! I love to play with Oban and have discovered how fun toys are; I love adventure walks and regular walks too; I love to be outside and don’t mind the wind as long as it is not too strong; I love my Mama and sleeping in her arms; I am getting more comfortable with Daddy and learning that people who come in the house are not scary. I am so glad that The Beagle Alliance and Kindness Sanctuary Ranch got me released and we are also thankful to have Chelsey Marino of Keeper and Kin to help me navigate this big world. ❤️❤️❤️ @thebeaglealliance @kindnessranch @keeper.and.kin #yeg #beagles by @termibaker

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Yes, it is Thanksgiving in Canada!! That is because this is our harvest season…the crops are in now and we are getting our first snow here in the prairies this weekend although it warms up again after today so it won’t last long. We are giving thanks for all our family, friends, health and of course adding Paisley to our family. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁🦃 #yeg #beagles by @termibaker

#aimeeturns4 Happy Birthday Aimee!! We are getting a snooze in before we party!!! by @termibaker

Today Oban and I (Paisley) got to go to a private session with Rebecca @skybounddogs …Oban goes there for barn hunt and day training so he showed me how to be very brave! First we explored the barn hunt area…Oban climbed and explored while I was happy just exploring at ground level. Then Rebecca let me meet the gerbils…I was really interested and Oban loves his gerbils. Next we played in a big open area with some agility equipment…I would walk over the poles on the ground and gave everything else really good sniffs! We had a great time and the hoomans were very surprised with how brave I was! I even got to meet two of Rebecca’s dogs (Per and Lark) they were very sweet. We can’t wait to go back for our next visit!! @skybounddogs @thebeaglealliance @keeper.and.kin @kindnessranch by @termibaker

A fun evening tonight! Well, to be honest, we play almost every night! I (Paisley) love to get Oban into play mode!! I didn’t know how to play until a few months ago and now it is my favourite 😊 Mama finally had the phone ready to record! I sure hope all the dogs getting released from research labs will learn to live their best lives too! #beagles #yeg @thebeaglealliance @keeper.and.kin @kindnessranch by @termibaker

Today there were more firsts for me (Paisley) … we went for a walk in the rain out at our wetland nature preserve and some some ducks (last photo) and a coyote but we stayed away from it 😮. Then Oban helped me to be brave and go in a pet store…I wouldn’t walk through the scary sliding doors or take treats but I did walk through the whole store and had lots of sniffs! I surprised my pawrents by walking out the sliding doors with no hesitation!! Mama and Daddy said I was very brave so we each got a new toy and a treat as a reward!! #beagles #yeg @thebeaglealliance @keeper.and.kin @kindnessranch by @termibaker

Mama made an Oktoberfest dinner tonight!!! Pork cutlets (schnitzel adjacent), homemade herb spaetzle and braised red cabbage with a Der Wilde Silvaner…it was great or so they said…no shares for us! #beagles #yeg by @termibaker

Our pawrents have dubbed this year ‘Project Paisley’…they are very surprised at how far she has come. I (Oban) take my job as big brother and mentor very seriously. We all love our walks in nature and despite the ups and downs of fear and anxiety with Paisley we are so happy she is enjoying her ‘Life Beyond The Lab’🥰 another big thank you to @keeper.and.kin @thebeaglealliance and @kindnessranch for giving Paisley a second chance and for all the support you give our pawrents. by @termibaker

I (Paisley) have been with my family for 5 months now and out of the research lab for 6.5 months!! I have gone from a dog who trembled and cowered at every movement or sound to a beautiful little beagle who loves walks in nature, playing with toys and my brother, Oban, enjoying cuddles and back massages and exploring the house and yard (even in the rain and wind😮)! My Mama says more fun is on the way too!! I am getting used to other people now and that means we can try more things and go to more places. A special thank you to Chelsey Marino @keeper.and.kin as well as Lori Cohen @thebeaglealliance and John Ramer @kindnessranch for getting me a collaborative release from the research lab and a chance to live my best life!! I never knew life could be this good! ❤️❤️❤️#yeg #beaglesofinstagram #keeperandkin #thebeaglealliance #kindnessranch by @termibaker

It is my (Paisley) 3rd birthday too and my very first birthday celebration! I am not sure what to think of all of this, it is kind of scary but fun at the same time. My pawrents got me 3 years worth of presents to make up for the birthday celebrations I missed! I shared my pup pie with Oban and will share the toys too! #beagle #yeg @keeper.and.kin @thebeaglealliance @kindnessranch by @termibaker

Happy International Dog Day!!! Mama has trouble catching us sitting together but we definitely are playing more and enjoying our time together. #yeg #beagles by @termibaker
