We love this bike Our @ternbicycles has given us so much freedom to explore at our own pace. I also may or may not be, missing the battery as I cycle the length of the UK (but I’ll try not to dwell on that haha)And whilst initially you can feel a little stranded for not being able to go wherever you want (the luxury a car gives you), I never tire of the results of being slowed down and having to think outside the box to find somewhere bikeable and to question “where can we go?” And “what can we do when we get there”I’d never paddled in the stream here before, but now I have a feeling it’s going to be a regular spot for us all to enjoy!Now the Tern cargo bike is safely stowed away, it’s time to get back on my other bike! Everywhere we went this week on our @ternbicycles cargo e-bike 🚲✨ ADOne of the things we LOVE most about our e-bike is how it gets us out on local adventures without needing the car. Somehow even the shortest trips feel so much more exciting when we arrive by bike!This week we challenged ourselves to see how many places we could get to on two wheels, and we had the best time. Here’s where we went:🐄 A post-nursery ride to our local farm shop for a picnic dinner.🐦 Dropped Aífe at nursery, then took Lyra to our favourite local nature reserve for a coffee and some birdwatching from the hide.🪵 Cycled the back roads to our favourite adventure play trail, where the girls are obsessed with the giant tree swing.🌿 Tried a new river swimming spot that definitely didn’t disappoint!I bet you can think of at least three places near you that you could reach by e-bike 💚A couple of accessories we love with our e-bike are the Sun Shield, that helps keep the girls protected from the sun and means we can add the Storm Shield (waterproof cover) for the unpredictable Lake District weather. We also highly recommend the Transporteur Rack; perfect for carrying everything we need for a day out — from snacks and spare clothes to picnic supplies and swim gear.Day to day, our bike takes us to nursery, playgroups, cafés, playgrounds and friends’ houses, and every journey feels more fun, more freeing and so much less stressful than taking the car.We genuinely love our e-bike, and it’s completely changed the way we get around locally 🚲 by @ternbicycles
