TERRABUCCI

TERRABUCCI is a contemporary slow living space, yet rooted to the tradition and old-fashioned ethos for the intentional lifestyle.

At TERRABUCCI we celebrate natural beauty, mediterranean country design, bohemian spirit and slow life culture to create an atmosphere of tranquility, harmony and wellbeing. It’s a little world of the past where we can connect with nature and with ourselves and leave the stresses and strains of modern life behind.

“Terra” means earth, land or ground, and represents the rural, earthy, ecological hearth of our vision, while “Bucci” is our couple’s nickname. This is our terra, this is Terra Bucci: we envisioned a place where we feel good and try to make all our guests feel good.

Before the celebration in front of everyone…

There was this.

A little town hall in Arola.
A serenade the night before.
Two straw hats.
Wildflowers picked from our garden.
A quiet “yes.”

The moment we became husband and wife. 🤍 taken in Arola Lago D'Orta by @terra.bucci

SUMMER AT CASA MAFALDA

Summer feels different when it’s your own house.

Your own pool.
Your own morning coffee under the porch.
Your own slow afternoons with nowhere else to be.

Bare feet on warm stone.
A swim before dinner.
Long evenings under the lights.

No shared spaces.
No rush.
Just your people and the quiet rhythm of summer.

Summer dates are filling up.
If you’ve been dreaming about Lake Maggiore, this is your moment.

Book directly via the link in bio.

HOLDING THE FLAME

Some moments hit differently.
Watching the Olympic flame pass through Arona was emotional.
Seeing it carried by my friend Corinna — even more.

Pride, goosebumps, and one of those memories that stay warm for a long time.

A WINTER WALK

Cold air, slow steps, sun on snow.
A walk… and a slow lunch in Crampiolo, up at Alpe Devero.
Our winter, taken slowly.

CHRISTMAS BY THE LAKE

Christmas here is not about rushing — it’s about warm houses glowing at dusk, reflections dancing on the water, and the simple joy of coming home after a winter walk.

At TERRABUCCI stays, the season feels gentle, intimate, and beautifully unhurried.
A slower kind of magic. ✨

LIVING NATIVITY IN AROLA

A small village.
Ancient crafts.
A timeless Christmas story ✨

Every December 24th, the village of Arola comes alive with its Living Nativity:
carpenters, bakers, blacksmiths,
and the magic of the Nativity scene.

A beautiful tradition that reminds us how important it is
to keep these moments — and memories — alive 🤍

SEPTEMBER THERAPY
Soft light, warm water, and the quiet rhythm of late summer by the lake. 🌊✨
The pool, the view, the silence—everything slows down.
Because sometimes the best kind of therapy is just… doing nothing at all.

SUMMER WEEK

Arrivals.
Departures.
Sheets.
Shootings.
Presents.

A salty pause.
Lists, dreams, ideas.
Then, a chick.

Rain.
Silence rinsing it all.

And what’s left
is all that matters.

WAKING UP IN AROLA

We woke up slowly,
with the lake shimmering in the distance
and bees already dancing on the lavender.

There was no plan—
just the rhythm of a perfect morning.

A walk to greet the hens,
blackberries warm from the sun,
wild flowers picked with love.

An egg turned into pancakes,
a table set under the wisteria.

Coffee, laughter, soft light.

This isn’t a holiday.
This is what we once dreamed of.
And now, we live it.
Together. Slowly.

———

Here we remember: this is the whole point.
