Adding this to the list of easy dinners every mom should know 🤎 found this one from @itsmeghankay

Creamy Italian Sausage Gnocchi Soup cozy, filling, one pot, and on the table in about 30 minutes. Basically everything I want in a fall weeknight dinner.

You’ll need:
• 1 lb mild Italian sausage
• 1 package gnocchi
• 8 oz spinach
• 2 tbsp minced garlic
• 1/2 chopped white onion
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 2 cups half & half or heavy cream
• 6 oz grated parmesan
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning

Brown the sausage with the garlic, seasonings + tomato paste. Add broth and bring to a boil, then cook the gnocchi for 3–5 minutes. Lower the heat and stir in the cream, parmesan + spinach. Let it simmer about 10 minutes until creamy.

The more time I spend in God’s Word, the more I learn about who He is calling me to be.

I’m in a season of working on stewardship and consistency slowing down, planning ahead, and being more intentional with how I use my time.

How we spend our time reflects our priorities.

And the discipline and consistency I’m chasing aren’t going to come from trying harder. Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. I need to abide in Him, renew my mind daily, and let Him change me.

“Let us not become weary in doing good…”
Galatians 6:9

The Holy Spirit in me produces faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I don’t led by my flesh, but by the Spirit and the Word.

Sometimes that looks as simple as putting my phone away, slowing down, and serving the people right in front of me.

At-home pizza night has become one of our favorite weekend traditions. 🍕

This dough recipe is from @itsdoughguy and it never disappoints.

We make the dough on Friday, let it cold ferment in the fridge, then pull it out before lunch on Sunday so it can come to room temperature before dinner.

The best part is there’s no pizza oven required.

A pizza steel and good dough are all you need to make incredible pizza at home.

🍕 Dough Recipe (3 pizzas)

853g bread flour
529g cold water
3.4g active dry yeast
21g salt
17g sugar
28g olive oil

Mix, divide into dough balls, and refrigerate for 2–4 days.

If you’ve been wanting to level up your homemade pizza nights, you have to try a pizza steel.

Planning a trip to the San Diego Zoo this summer? 🦒☀️

A few things that made our day so much easier:

🐘 Pack your own food and snacks. We brought a Trader Joe’s cooler bag with sandwiches, fruit, and drinks and saved a lot of money.

⏰ Arrive shortly after opening for cooler weather, more active animals, and smaller crowds.

🗺️ Our favorite route:
Outback → Elephant Odyssey → Northern Frontier → Lost Forest → Asian Passage

🍺 Take a break in Urban Jungle before finishing the day.

✨ Most importantly: don’t feel like you need to see everything. The zoo is huge! Pick a few must-see animals, take your time, and enjoy the day.
