I will be closing our GoFundMe at the end of this month.

We have been incredibly blessed by the support of more than 65 friends and family members, 600+ shares, and more than 3,000 views. Sharing such a deeply personal story was not easy, and I am profoundly grateful to everyone who showed up for Brady and me with kindness, encouragement, donations, and shares.

From April 2024 through September 2026, I fought a two-year custody battle to keep my son in Virginia Beach, the only home he has ever known. We endured multiple court hearings, an appeal, tremendous emotional stress, and more than $275,000 in legal expenses. I also lost both of my jobs earlier this year and spent more than four months unemployed, while Brady faced significant medical expenses. I am incredibly grateful that the custody matter is now resolved and that Brady can remain home.

I never imagined asking for help, but I have learned that there is no shame in needing a village. My family and friends have helped carry us through some incredibly difficult moments.

A special thanks for my amazing brother, Jack, and my sister, Shari Berman Pascarosa for w/out them, I am not sure where Brady and I would be. My cousins, the Brambles, Holly ,Megan Bramble Owings, Paul Bramble, Kendra Richardson Bramble who generously donated to help us! Also, Julie Hantman for her recurring donation and extention of support to try to find ways for a single mother to find pro bono legal suppot and non-profits that help pay off custody battle legal debt. Bretta Z Lewis and her amazing team at Pender & Coward, P.C. to include Marcus Mitchell that kept Brady in Va Beach and won the case for us!

I am working hard to rebuild financially, get caught up, and continue moving forward. Most importantly, I am grateful that Brady and I are on the other side of this incredibly difficult chapter.
