Once upon a time, this momma had a son named Will Tucker who loved DUKE basketball, but his mom didn’t want him to decorate his room w/ his favorite team b/c of the mascot!! Then many years later, after that boy had grown into a 33yr old man he moved to North Carolina to do his final cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the very school he loved as a boy, and today he took his mom and dad and beautiful family to visit the DUKE campus (where they are known for training some of the very best surgeons in the world😭). And I share b/c after “taking to the bed” (for only a couple of days this time) that his first choice wasn’t Vanderbilt as I had hoped - I do feel better after visiting (even though I’m always going to miss them whenever they are not with me b/c that’s just what moms do), and I do believe it’s gonna be much better than just ok, and that he will be the best of the best of a surgeon when he is finished! We head home tomorrow & it’s true that my heart will ache a bit, but he and Abbey (my hero mama) are amazing parents, the children’s school is wonderful, and I trust my son’s judgement & I thank God who already knew He would be making a way for Will to be here learning from the best! ❤️🙏 by @terratucker

Happy 7th Birthday Reed Tucker (the one who made us a Mimi & Poppy)!!!! We love you more than the world and thank God for you always!!! It’s true that you remind me of your daddy and of your poppy too, but you are loved and treasured by me b/c you are uniquely and wonderfully you!! ❤️❤️❤️ You are: kind, brave, thoughtful, loving, smart, creative…, and the best (7yr old 🥹) grandson we could have ever imagined! You love Jesus and others really well as you are helpful to your mom and dad, the best big brother and cousin, and the sweetest boy to mimi and poppy! ! I loved seeing you be such a good friend to your classmates as it was a joy to get to help your amazing mama bring cupcakes to celebrate you at your new school today! ❤️🎉❤️

Last one from the women’s event that Gracie sent me b/c the girls sent it to her 🩷🩷🩷 & I share to encourage some of you that if you ever feel led to pour into the next generation, teach a Sunday School class of teenage girls, or simply be available in Jesus name - to do it, b/c God will lead & equip you, and you will be blessed by the experience!!! + there’s a really good chance that you are going to love seeing them as young women of God!!! 🩷🙏🙌🏼 by @terratucker

For years people have asked Mr David & I where we attend church & although we have visited many great churches in the area where God is clearly at work and have been blessed to attend a couple for a good bit & loved them, we haven’t been truly settled back into a church home for awhile - until this past year when God did a bit of a full circle thing in a way only He could have done it where there would be no doubt it was Him! Last night the women’s ministry team led by the beautiful from the inside out @katielandrith had their fall event “Dwell” which was wonderful, and afterward a precious young woman I’ve known & loved for years asked me - “do you go here?” to which I was most honored to answer yes b/c God is at work at Thompson’s Station Church! 🥹❤️🙏⛪️
Today when I looked at my camera roll I realized that the only photo I had on my phone from last night was this one - which is kind of perfect b/c each of these beautiful friends were all pivotal in God bringing us back to the church home that we love!!!
And my reason for this post is that if you are looking for a church or are even just interested in attending one, I’d like to personally invite you to give @tstationchurch a try, and if it’s for you - you are wanted and welcome, and if not - that’s ok too, & you will still always be wanted & welcome!
& I sure do love these ladies & thank God for each of them and all the ways they have loved and poured into so many lives at TSC over the years & continue to love and minister to date!!! ❤️ by @terratucker

Happy Birthday to one of my besties for life @lisabarron07 !!!! ❤️❤️❤️ If you know her you already know that you are blessed as she’s the best kind of true friend who makes us all better as she loves her friends and family well - while being all she is to everybody else - including her role as pastor’s wife (which makes me smile b/c God always knew she could be trusted to minister to so many while being a helpmate to her hubby, & it’s just beautiful to watch even still), friend, sister, mother, grandmother… & everything else!!! + you raise chickens (I don’t know why I cannot seem to get over you raising chickens - maybe b/c I always thought that I was the country friend in the group😂) Oh my!!! LO 2026 was amazing, God was clearly at work, and lives were changed for all of eternity 😭❤️🙌🏼!!! & I had the best time with some of my favorite people on the planet who always make me want to draw closer to Jesus!!! ❤️🙏😭 Love these people & LO Sisterhood conference b/c it is something special (every year I have a moment where I wonder if “this” is what heaven will be like) - trust me, you & yours want to attend any chance you get!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Sadie & Christian are simply the real Jesus loving deal!!! We love them & their family so very much!!! - & to God be the glory!!!
& a bonus to the weekend is that on Saturday - Ryman turned two!!! 🥰🥰🥰 & today my heart is full!!! Thank you Jesus!!! by @terratucker
