What started with helping people build businesses has evolved into helping people make a difference.

For years, many of you have known me through e-commerce, entrepreneurship, and online business. Those seasons taught me how to build relationships, solve problems, and serve people.

Today, those same skills have a different mission.

I’m grateful to work alongside incredible healthcare professionals and organizations, helping build meaningful partnerships that make a real difference in people’s lives. It’s reminded me that sales isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about opening doors, creating solutions, and serving others in ways that truly matter.

Sometimes your greatest purpose is simply being the connection that helps someone else receive what they need.

A huge thank you to @chemikhealthcare for welcoming our team to share the vision of our leader @iamrodrickjackson . I appreciate your heart for serving your patients and look forward to building something meaningful together. 🤝

If you’re a healthcare professional, home health owner, administrator, physician, or someone who believes collaboration leads to better outcomes, I’d love to connect. I’m always looking to build genuine relationships with people who are passionate about serving others.

Here’s to purpose over position. 🙏🏾

I can’t even count the number of times people in Costco see my wife and I purchasing a pallet or clearing a shelf & they have VIRTUALLY no idea what the item is or didn’t even come for it and will grab one, even if it’s one that fell on the floor just so they feel like they not missing out on a deal - it’s called F.O.M.O ~ fear of missing out

The last mile taught me something.

Saturday, a group of men from my Bible study @hfbcsienna and I took on a 7-mile hike.

Uphill. Downhill. Constant elevation changes.

By the last mile, I was tired. 😂

But I looked ahead and saw a brother.

I looked beside me and saw a brother.

I looked behind me and saw a brother.

And I kept going.

I finished 7 miles having done something I’d never done before.

It reminded me of the journey we’re on as husbands and fathers.

Some seasons are going to be hard. You’re going to get tired. The responsibility will feel heavy.

But you weren’t meant to walk it alone.

Find men who will walk with you, challenge you, pray with you, and remind you to keep going.

And keep your eyes on God.

Because sometimes you don’t need to know how much farther you have to go.

You just need to look around and remember who’s walking with you.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

Keep walking, brothers. 👊🏾🙏🏾 by @terrelldphearse

Providing isn’t the only way Dad protects.

As dads, we can get really good at taking care of everybody else.

Working hard.
Providing.
Showing up.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, it’s easy to put your own health at the bottom of the list.

I’ve been thinking about that differently.

This Saturday morning run isn’t just about getting in shape.

It’s about wanting to be healthy enough to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build.

I want to be there for the big moments with my kids.

But I also want to be there for the little ones.

The random Saturdays.
The family trips.
The conversations.
The moments I don’t even know are coming yet.

The Bible says, “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.”

That hits differently when you realize your body isn’t just yours.

Taking care of myself is one way I take care of my family.

So dads, don’t just focus on providing and protecting.

Take care of the man doing the providing and protecting.

Your family needs you too. ❤️

Provide.

Build.

Win.

And still be present.

I think millennial dads are living through an interesting shift in fatherhood.

We still want to provide. We want to build something meaningful. We want to create financial security and give our kids opportunities.

But we also want to actually experience them growing up.

Friday night Nintendo.

The random trips.

The games.

The car rides.

The “Dad, come look at this!” moments.

I’m grateful for the generations before us and what they taught us about hard work and providing.

But I think we’re adding another piece to the definition of success:

Being there to enjoy what you’re working so hard to build.

I’m ambitious. I want my kids to have more.

But I don’t want to be so busy building their future that I miss their present.

So yeah…

I’m trying to do both.

Build the life.
And be present for it.

If your a dad and this dichotomy lands with you or another dad you know drop a 💯 in comments below ⬇️

Your WORK can be worship.

Not just Sunday.
Not just church.
Not just when you’re doing something that feels “spiritual.”

The way you show up to work matters too.

I may work in medical sales, but I’ve come to see my work differently.

I’m not just selling.

I’m serving people.

I’m walking into hospitals, building relationships, solving problems, and doing my part to help people receive better care.

And I believe God cares about how I do it.

My work ethic.
My integrity.
How I treat people.
How I handle pressure.
How I serve when nobody is watching.

Because as men, we’re called to lead—and leadership doesn’t stop when we clock in.

So wherever you work tomorrow…

Work like it matters.
Serve like it matters.
Lead like it matters.

Because it does.

Your marketplace isn’t separate from your faith.

It can be one of the places you live it out.

Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” 🙏🏾

Every man needs a place where he feels seen and known.

But I believe we also need a place where we’re challenged to grow.

That’s what I appreciate about getting in a room with other men and opening God’s Word.

We’re all carrying different responsibilities.

Husbands.
Fathers.
Leaders.
Businessmen.
Employees.
Sons.
Friends.

And none of us have all the answers.

But there’s something powerful about growing in God’s Word alongside other men who are trying to become better too.

Not perfect men.

Growing men.

Men learning how to lead better.
Love better.
Listen better.
Handle pressure better.
Show up better.

Because the goal isn’t just to know more Scripture.

It’s to let God’s Word change how we live when we leave the room.

Iron sharpens iron. 🙏🏾

And sometimes, the best thing a man can do is simply find his people, get in the room, and keep growing.

As men, life can get busy enough that friendship slowly becomes an afterthought.

Work.
Marriage.
Kids.
Responsibilities.

Before you know it, you’ve got plenty of people you know… but very few people who really know you.

That’s why moments like this matter.

A little golf. Some laughs. A hug. Checking in. Being around men who have known different versions of you and still want to see you win.

Brotherhood isn’t about having a big circle.

It’s about having a few men you can call, laugh with, be honest with, pray with, celebrate with, and lean on when life gets heavy.

Men weren’t built to carry everything alone.

Build the career. Love your family. Chase your goals.

But don’t forget to build your brotherhood too.

Yesterday’s post and the responses from the dads got me thinking…

The truth is, not every one of us is trying to fix what we saw growing up. Some of us had fathers who showed us what being present looked like.

My dad was there. He worked, provided, and still made sure we knew he was present in our lives. He didn’t have to choose between being successful and being a father.

So for me, this season of fatherhood isn’t about reinventing the wheel.

It’s about taking what my dad modeled for me and building on it.

Creating memories with my kids.
Being present for the little things.
Working hard without missing the moments that matter.

Maybe that’s the real goal…

Not just leaving something FOR our kids.

But leaving something IN them. 🙏🏾

Worship is a weapon. In over a decade of marriage we have experienced some mountain tops and some valley lows.

The glue that holds us together is our mutual foundation in Christ. Now that doesn’t mean we or our marriage is immune from challenges.

In some seasons it’s a sacrifice of Praise to lift your hands and sing knowing the mountains you face. Then we remember “You don’t have to know the plans when you KNOW the One who made them”

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
 two can defend themselves.
