What started as an idea turned into reality.
Built a soccer club with my friends.
Made lifelong relationships. Learned more about myself than I ever knew.

Watching the kids grow and play the game I love…
that’s what makes it all worth it.

This community is everything. 🌊
All the long days and long nights? They’ll pay off.

Take a chance. Do what you love. It’s worth it. 🫶🏽 by @terry_lippens

Just to update everyone on our page.

We started Current FC with a simple but ambitious vision, to build something meaningful from the ground up something that could compete at the highest levels while developing young players to be ready for college and the professional game. That vision has never changed.

Now we take the next step forward.
We are rebranding as Shark Coast FC.

This name represents more than a new look. It represents who we are and where we come from. New Smyrna Beach and the surrounding coastline are defined by the ocean; powerful, resilient, and alive. Sharks play a vital role in protecting that ecosystem. They bring balance, strength, and sustainability to the waters that shape our community. They aren’t something to fear, they exist for a reason, and without them, the system doesn’t thrive.

That’s what Shark Coast FC stands for.

We’ve won state titles. We’ve competed on the national stage. And we’ve continued to grow together. This rebrand reflects our commitment to unity across Volusia County and our belief in what’s possible when a community moves in the same direction.

The name has changed, but the mission remains the same..to build a club that develops players, competes with purpose, and represents our home the right way.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. This is only the beginning. More updates are coming and bigger things are ahead. taken in New Smyrna Beach, Florida by @terry_lippens
