If you are reading this message, you are a friend or follower of the Gunn family, and we share this sad news with you because of our heartfelt friendship.

On October 1st, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Hallie Borns, our son Troy's beloved companion, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident while traveling on the highway to her home—which is also our home—at 9:00 PM. When Hallie failed to arrive and did not answer her phone, Troy went out to look for her. She had crashed on the highway just a short distance from our home, was ejected from her truck, and passed away instantly.

Hallie was 27 years old, full of life, and madly in love with our son. She leaves behind a devastated family and countless friends who mourn a brilliant young life cut far too short.

Troy is a strong man and has the unwavering love and support of his family.

There is no need for a reply. All we ask is that you take a moment today to hug someone you love and send some love Troy's and the Borns family's way. Life is so precious and should never be taken for granted.

It's been a week that dreams are made of, living on a boat in paradise found.
