We’re still trying to wrap our heads around being voted Best Cover Band in Orlando, and apparently this guy named Tommy has a little something to say about it…

(And apparently a bone to pick with Nick about our setlist. Don’t worry…. it’ll be resolved soon 😂)

We’re HONORED to have been voted Orlando Weekly’s 2026 BEST COVER BAND!

For weeks, you took time out of your days to vote. You set reminders so you wouldn’t forget. You shared our posts, sent the link to your friends & encouraged them to vote, too. You kept showing up for us, day after day, & we hope you know how much that means to us. ❤️

The thing is… you’ve been showing up for us long before voting ever started.

You show up at the venues ready to rock. You sing along at the top of your lungs. You pull your friends onto the floor when “YOUR” song starts. You dance with people you may not have known when the night began. Your joy is contagious. Your energy fuels us.

There’s an electricity in those moments that has such a beautiful way of bringing people together, & getting to create that kind of magic with all of you night after night is something we’ll never take for granted.

A HUGE thank you to @orlandoweekly for continuing to shine a light on the people, places, artists, businesses & communities that make Orlando the weird, wonderful, creative city we love.

Shout out & congratulations to @stereofmband & @floriduhband_official, & to every one of our fellow nominees! We couldn’t be happier to be in such incredible company.

To every musician pouring their heart into Orlando’s live music scene: let’s keep making noise. Let’s keep showing up for each other. Let’s keep filling rooms with music & giving people a reason to come together. This musical community is so damn special, & we’re proud to be a part of it.

About last night …

🤯 WOW! It wasn’t a good time, it was a GREAT TIME!! Thank you @goodtimesbarfl for having us!!!

And thank you to everyone who showed up and partied with The 789s. It filled our hearts with so much joy to see you all dancing and singing along. It genuinely was so enjoyable to share that evening with you all ❤️‍🔥 Our sincerest thanks for making it such a special special night.

To top it off is was a fabulous moment to get to meet and hang out with Jeff Blando and Paul Drennan. Not only are they incredible musicians but incredibly nice guys 🙏🏻
