♡ cosplay: kaguya houraisan
♡ source: touhou project
♡ event: animeusa 2025 (sunday)
♡ thoughts: i bought a kaguya cosplay off of a touhou cosplay discord server so im rlly happy that animeusa is around this time so that i can cosplay her :33 animeusa is smaller than otakon but i still had a great time - i mostly spent my time at artist alley/dealer’s room and the gaming room (particularly the touhou aisle - i love touhou fighting games plus here’s footage of me playing imperishable night LOL). i also got to meet my friend from uva - s/o to char for her digi 🫶🏼 lowk my bangs were kinda chopped since i have thicker hair and my bangs weren’t how i wanted but looking back, i think it was fine. im really happy to go to a con during fall break because the last few weeks were diabolical (esp with evoeco…). i was also happy to see that someone recognized kaguya at the end of con and we got to take a pic together since not a lot of ppl cosplayed as 2hus (s/o to mizi who recognized me - she did eirin at otakon!). i didn’t spend a lot of money compared to otakon but i got some keychains and other merch! im excited for my next rally (potentially magfest but since it’s during the week of jdays training i need to figure it out with hrl 💀 and twice concert/katsucon weekend might be diabolical…) by @teruyos_

♡ cosplay: reimu hakurei
♡ source: touhou project
♡ event: otakon 2025 (friday)
♡ thoughts: originally i was going to get a reimu cosplay from ebay that was around $200 but my parents complained about it and i saw a post saying how someone diyed it so i decided to enlist my sister to help me make it. learning how to use a sewing machine was a learning curve and i had to ask my sister a lot for help but once i got the hang of it, it was fun (although very much ragebait). oh how i miss otakon (i keep saying it so many times irl) but it felt that our hard work paid off when i got a lot of pictures from it. i made this account because i felt as if it was a bit hard for me to express my interests/hobbies at uva but i think it’s also a place for me to learn how to let go of a perfectionistic image i have of myself and to enjoy whatever i want :) by @teruyos_
