Until you've experienced the loss of someone so dear, you can't truly grasp the depths of grief. For five years now, I've carried the pain of missing my grandmother, a woman who was my guiding light. She never told me what to do but inspired me to see beyond life's challenges. Her unwavering faith carried our family through tough times.

I know you may not be pleased with how things have drifted apart, but your prayers continue to bless generations beyond what we can fathom. Sometimes, we must allow time to heal and mend what's broken. I miss our talks, your wisdom, and your loving presence. You always welcomed me home, no matter how many times I left.

You taught me valuable lessons in business, kindness, and compassion, making me a stronger person. You showed me the importance of giving and loving family unconditionally. You were a role model of integrity and faith. I hope I'm making you proud, as you've given me the map to navigate life and the freedom to do it in my unique way.

This year, I'm not waking up in tears, but with a sense of purpose and determination, just as you taught me. I love you, Grandma. Happy Birthday ❤️🕊️✨ by @teshea__

“HOLDING HER THOUGHTS LIKE WARM TEA”- Charles Jean- Pierre ✨🇫🇷 Paris, the Congressional Black Caucus in DC, then New York for the United Nations General Assembly, New York Climate Week, the Science Summit, and a seat at the table with Kairos. Passport stamped. Purpose in motion. Community everywhere. September was good to me, and I’m sitting in a whole lot of gratitude. 🙏🏾💚 by @teshea__

“I see you, you got love on the brain It’s all in your hands, all in your veins In every part of you, in every molecule I see you, wiggling your toes in the rain
Joyful freedom, it belongs to you You know it’s true You look, you love, you laugh, you smile through and through. ASÈ” ✨❤️ Proof of Life. by @teshea__

One quote that stayed with me throughout this cohort came from Anastasia. She said, “For me it is the unshakable belief that whispers in my ear from the minute I get up to the time I go to sleep that says you can do anything.” And I believe that deeply. Because entrepreneurship requires that type of belief. A belief so strong that even when things are uncertain, even when the path is unclear, you keep going.✨🤲🏾 by @teshea__
