I’ve reached the destination. The finish line. And I can say that the destination isn’t as beautiful as the journey. As I look back on the journey, I see how much I’ve grown. Through those early morning rides, those late night runs and everything in between, I’ve learned so much about myself. My training was never about the destination, rather about the journey and the growth in relationship with God. Spending time with Him throughout my training sessions is why I signed up for this. Thankful for the journey, my friends and family who supported me along the way, and to God who gave me the ability to do something like this.

“He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.””
