Look 1 | Coastal Ruins

The first look from ‘Beyond the Cliffs’, my final graduate collection inspired by Rathlin Island.

This piece was heavily inspired by the seaweed and movement surrounding the shoreline of the island. I wanted it to feel as though it had been pulled directly from the sea itself! layered, textured, and constantly moving with the body.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been sponsored by @donegalyarns to create this look. Their yarns brought so much depth, texture, and character to the piece and felt perfect for capturing the raw, natural atmosphere I wanted throughout the collection. Using such beautifully crafted Irish yarns made the process even more meaningful.

Through experimental knit techniques and hand-finished fringing, I explored ways of recreating the textures and movement of the coast. A lot of the garment developed naturally through sampling and experimenting with structure until the piece finally felt right.

Over the past year, this collection has become deeply personal to me. Rathlin shaped every part of it from the silhouettes and textures to the darker atmosphere running throughout the work. It feels really special to finally share these pieces after so long developing them.

‘Beyond the Cliffs’

My final graduate collection inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and community of Rathlin Island. Through knitwear, I wanted to capture the feeling of the island’s rugged coastline, the movement of seabirds across the cliffs, the textures of seaweed and tides, and the weathered beauty of the shore.

Each look was created using locally sourced Irish yarns, including Rathlin wool supported by @futureislandisland and @donegalyarns ,celebrating craftsmanship, sustainability, and connection to place. From sculptural silhouettes to flowing textures and knitted surface details, every piece reflects a different part of the island and its atmosphere.

I’m so proud to finally share this collection after months of designing, knitting, sampling, and developing every detail. Seeing the full collection come together feels incredibly special, and I’m so grateful to everyone who supported me throughout the process.

DAMHSA — Ireland Fashion Week 2026 ✨

So proud to have showcased my work at Ireland Fashion Week for a second year , this time at the RDS Concert Hall for Damhsa on Saturday! 🤍

For this look, I explored the movement, energy and drama of Irish dance through knitwear, playing with texture, shape and movement to bring my design to life on the runway. Created using @donegalyarns and 100% Rathlin Island wool from the @futureislandisland project! 🧶

A special thank you to @laoiseoconnell and @yourjarofstyling for their incredible creative direction and styling. I’m so grateful to have been part of a show brought together by such talented people, and for the opportunity to share my work on this platform again.

The Seaweed Dress 🌿💚

A closer look at the green seaweed dress from my graduate collection, Beyond the Cliffs, inspired by the textures, movement and beauty of Rathlin Island’s coastline.

This piece was such a fun one to experiment with, using textured knit techniques and fringing to create the feeling of seaweed moving with the water. 🌊

A huge thank you to @jnwany for bringing the showcase together, and to my model @xtia.pettitx for bringing the dress to life, and Gareth Heron for capturing it so beautifully. 🤍

The Kittiwake 🐦‍⬛🤍

Another look from my graduate collection, Beyond the Cliffs, the Kittiwake top and skirt, inspired by the seabirds and rugged coastline of Rathlin Island.

It was so special seeing this look back on the runway and watching the pieces come together as a full look. I love how the textures and movement of the knitwear work together to reflect the feeling of the coastline.

The Puffin Top 🐧🤍

One of my favourite pieces from my graduate collection, Beyond the Cliffs, inspired by the incredible wildlife and landscape of Rathlin Island.

It was so special seeing this piece back on the runway at the Belfast Emerging Fashion Showcase and watching it come to life once again. I’m so grateful to @jnwany for putting together such a beautiful showcase and giving my graduate collection another opportunity to be seen. ✨

So lovely to be surrounded by so many talented designers, models and creatives and to see this little puffin have another moment on the runway. 🤍
