Join us on Halloween for an oh-so-special Community Gathering 🍂👻 This month we’ll be honoring the cycles of Life & Death through a Death Meditation (traditionally known as Maranasati). This sacred practice invites us to sit with death as a path towards truly and deeply appreciating LIFE. It’s a very powerful and meaningful practice, and a perfect way to celebrate the roots of the Halloween holiday. As always, we’ll share + journal together, plus some movement and breath work. We’ll be gathering on October 31st at 4 pm at @dayayogastudio. Bring a journal and wear something comfy. This event is by donation. See you there 🧡 by @tessaraesol

People always ask “how’s married life?”, and every time I say “it’s amazing!”, because it really is the greatest gift to wake up next to Dion every day and feel his constant love and support. But Dion and I have known from the very beginning that we would be together always, that we were soulmates, and that we would get married. What really changed for us on our wedding day was witnessing all the people we love come together in our honor, giving us the space to speak our hearts and declare our love, and feeling everyone pouring out their love for us right back. Dion and I’s number one intention for our wedding was to create a celebration of love ~ not just for Dion and I, but for all the people that have been there for us on our journey. And on that beautiful sunny day, saying “I do” and promising forever with Dion, I was transformed by the love and support of everyone around us. The tears, the hugs, the effort our family and friends made to make that weekend special. It was no small feat, and I still get overwhelmed thinking about all of the people that helped our wedding become such a magical celebration. So “married life” has meant to me being forever changed not only by the angel of a man I get to call my husband every day, but also from the wedding celebration that has forever opened up and changed my heart. Weddings take a lot of effort, but I couldn’t imagine anything more worthwhile.
Dion, thank you for writing this love story with me that culminated into the beautiful ceremony we created together on August 31, 2025. Thank you for caring for me and giving me the safe space to blossom. You are one of a kind, and I’ll spend forever cherishing you 🌻 by @tessaraesol
