It’s hard to believe that I am already saying “I went on Semester at Sea.” I have dreamed about SAS since I was in 6th grade, and here I am, with this chapter of my life coming to a close. I am so thankful for voyage 137 and the people that it brought me. I am heartbroken to be leaving, but I know that I am leaving a better person. SAS changed my life in ways I can’t even put into words. I have life long friends and memories that will stay with me wherever I go. This ship has made the world feel like home. This voyage has taught me how much there is left to explore and how much I am capable of. These people have shaped me into who I am. My perspective is forever changed, and a piece of my heart will always belong to the MV World Odyssey 🌍🩵🚢🌊 UBUNTU!!!!!!! taken in MV World Odyssey by @tessasignor

My time spent at the Savior Children’s Foundation in Ghana will be in my heart forever. The staff and children at the foundation were some of the most incredible people I have ever met. I am so thankful the Lord put them in my path. The four days I spent with them was nothing short of life changing. I learned new games, worshipped the Lord, and played futbol for hours.

Matthew 20:28 “even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Jesus’s love shined through each smile I encountered. I met future artists, doctors, and pastors. I couldn’t be more grateful for the memories and connections I have in this beautiful school thousands of miles away from home. taken in Ghana by @tessasignor
