I’m so happy! Chicago, I love you! Holy Malort, do you show up for your runners! What an absolutely epic time running the Chicago Marathon today. So magical getting words of encouragement from literal @coachbennett right before I crossed the starting line. I ran this race through @runforautism in support of my brother with ASD, and wow did that give this marathon even more meaning. Thank you so much again everyone who contributed to my fundraiser. I thought about each and every one of you while I was pounding out these miles. (If you wanted to donate and didn’t get a chance my fundraiser is still open this week!) And of course huge thanks to the very cutest of all the spectators, @seantgreen who was there at 25 to get me through that last mile. by @tesstifybarker

Hey @sebastiancomedy - since you took over the Raw Dog Comedy channel @siriusxmcomedy, indie (ahem more interesting comedians) have been majorly pushed off the channel. @siriusxm used to spin over 800 comedians. They now spins mostly legacy comedians including Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, as well as living celebrities who are already very wealthy.
Radio earnings support working class comedians.
These royalties allowed all types of comedians to take creative risks, and make our passion projects. Being a creative in this ever more horrific economy has been a true kick to the funny bone. Royalties help.
If you love comedy please push for indie comics on Sirius. The road is getting harder. Gas and flights are more expensive, and these are costs that performers cover themselves. Meanwhile, the rates clubs pay comics haven’t gone up in decades. Bring back the diverse slate of comics like the ones from my label mates at @burnthisrecords. We made Raw Dog great!

This past week I published the Diddy Files, my @popmysterypod collection of documentary episodes about Sean Diddy Combs and the far reaches of his syndicate. This week, I’ll be publishing the first episode in three part series Combs is also intrinsically involved in. I’ll be investigating the mysterious deaths of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. I am eager to share my findings with you all. To say the least. by @tesstifybarker
