Outside Man, starring Ice Cube and Tommy Lee Jones and written and directed by Brian Helgeland, has been acquired by Focus Features for worldwide distribution, with production beginning this November.

We’re proud to announce that Teton Ridge Entertainment is partnering with Netflix on a new drama series based on Larry McMurtry’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Lonesome Dove.

After acquiring the rights, we brought on Zoe Kazan and Jeb Stuart to develop the adaptation. The pair will write, executive produce and co-showrun the straight-to-series project.

Executive producers also include Thomas Tull, Jillian Share and Jen Gorton of Teton Ridge Entertainment, alongside Jon Jashni, Diana Ossana and Curtis McMurtry of the McMurtry Estate.

Lonesome Dove is one of the defining stories of the American West, and we’re honored to help bring its characters, scale and spirit to a new generation of audiences. by @tetonridge

Cowboy+ is headed to the Emmys!

Our work on the 2025 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has been nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the George Wensel Technical Achievement Award category for AIQ: Where Data Meets Dirt.

It marks the first time a rodeo broadcast has received a National Sports Emmy nomination, placing the sport — and the innovation behind it — on the same stage as the biggest leagues and productions in sports.

This recognition reflects the innovation and work happening behind the scenes to push rodeo coverage forward, giving fans unprecedented real-time analysis of rides and runs and a deeper, data-driven understanding of the sport.
