Me and my Dad, Waikiki Beach 1983 ❤️ & at my lil brothers Wedding, Brisbane 2016 ❤️ I wrote these words to my Dad on Father’s Day 10 years ago..

“Happy Father’s Day Daddy, thank you for always loving me so greatly, for always holding my hand & showing me how to dance through life with love, light and laughter in my heart.. You’ve taught me everything by your great example, most especially not to judge anyone - only to love everyone so completely - it conquers all.. Love you Daddy (I hope you like the book you’re in ☺️) “

I had written a piece about my Great Dad in a book called “The Greatness of Dads” I’m so glad I got to immortalise my Dad in this way, as there was just so much that was Great about my Dad.. 🤍🤍

This is why my grief is so Great too.. I miss my Dad so, so much.. Happy 1st Heavenly Father’s Day Daddy.. You were the Greatest there ever was.. 💙🌺 by @teuilablakely

I’m just rolling with it, instead of moaning, groaning and wanting to be who I was 10 or 20 years ago. I’m embracing my fifties. Every now and then, I have a down moment, but I quickly pick myself up, look in the mirror and think, “You’re doing good, girl!”
